Finnegan's at 5:30 pm and park closes at 6 pm

If we make dinner reservation at 5:30 pm and park closes at 6 pm, will we be rushed out?

We are thinking of going to US on Friday, April 15 and want to eat lunch at Leaky Cauldron and have dinner at Finnegan's.

Since it's our first time at the park, we want to spend much time as we can at the park (rides/Harry Potter) so we don't want to waste time eating sit down dinner too early. We thought if we make reservation at 5:30 pm, it'll give us more time at the park but don't want to be rushed out because park is closing at 6 pm.

Or we can go to US on Wednesday when park closes at 8:30 pm. Which brings different questions...

1. If park closes at 8:30 pm vs 6 pm, does that indicate they are expecting more crowds on 8:30 pm closing day?

2. I looked up Universal crowd calendar and couple of sites popped up: Undercover Tourist and Orlando Informer. They are slightly different for April 15. Which site is more dependable?

They probably won't rush you out, but when you see whats coming into the park you might want to.
The reason its closing early is that it is one of the "Grad Bash" nights for graduating high schoolers in FL/GA.

If there's no events at night, do they normally rush people out at closing time?

I read at MK, you can't ride at "closing time" but they let people linger to do last minute shopping and take pics.
