Finished the Minnie 5k and now attempting the Princess 1/2 - Am I nuts!?!

Hi everyone!! Back on Monday night (late) from California.. so got back to work this week, feel good at the new job, everything is going good..

However, .. i am in desparate need of some motivation here!!! I have 2 months til this Minnie -- and i have hit a total stop with my training.. I am vowed to jump back in and go full force for the next 2 months -- But, i will probably have to fall back to week 3 or 4 of my C25K plan.. I feel like i am never going to get thru this -- i keep letting other things take priority over this.. :sad2: I am ashamed..
I need to drop a few more lb.s too before the Minnie - i would love to do like 15lb by then more -- i have just been slacking big time. But, i started by shopping last night and getting my meals/snacks all planned out - and making better choices (by far!) and cutting down to only one (large) coffee a day - and drinking V8 splash (lite) and more H2o.

I just feel like i fell off the wagon, and i need a giant push back on.. :cheer2:

Although, i DID do one yoga class while in Cali --(and lots of walking.. LOL) but that's it. :rolleyes1

Anyway, i have VOWED to be back here everyday now and catching up.. my work is in order, my health needs to be too now.

I only have 2 mo. til i get to meet you awesome girls!!! Are we gonna do anything special? :hug:
 

Stacy, you can do this! Gettign healthy food bought and meals planned out is a first, HUGE step! Two months is still a good chunk of time to make this happen and you will. The walking you did on vacation will probably have kept you more in shape and ready to pick right back up with your training than you think. You're back and you are ready!

Wow...you're going to the Minnie too??? That's great news! :goodvibes Hang in there with the training and take it one day at a time. You'll be fine...just don't get overwhelmed. You absolutely have plenty of time to get yourself prepared!!!
 
Hi amy, yup.. i signed up for the minnie around last december or so..

I am finishing up W3 today --- yes, i took a big step back, but i have time and i didn't want to push myself.. ( for those that don't remember, i made it up to week 6 last time -- then just let life take over )
I have eaten good all week, and am very proud of myself..

Hi, Stacy. Congrats on picking up with your training again. I could be the poster child for life interfering with exercise and diet goals. I understand feeling bad because you haven't been able to stay with what you set out to do, but we still have plenty of time before Minnie (or so everyone keeps telling me!!) so don't stress. You are right back in the swing of things and you'll be fine!

Hi Stacie,

Great job getting back into the routine of things. You may find that you can progress a bit faster with the c25k program. You've already done a few extra weeks, and your body will remember.

Managed to do W4D1 -- made it thru.. LOL Counting down the days til the Minnie..
Eating is going good too.. very happy. :)
 
Hi everyone.. sorry no long posts.. rushing around to get dd ready for school, and now that i am in the working world.. lol
Anyway, i did w4d2 yesterday - and actually noticed that i felt much better after the workout than i did on w4d1. so, that alone made me feel good!
I have been doing REALLY good with my eating.. i have been doing WW points (on my own) and i believe i lost about 2lbs last week! I am sleeping better, which is a huge accomplishment for me! Overall, i am neverous about the 5k - as i want to jog the whole thing -- but i am sure having 7 weeks left to train i will be ok. :) You guys help pull me thru.. and i can't wait to meet you all.
