This is something my husband mentioned -- the overall quality of the room does not compare to other hotels at similar price points, so Disney really has to go all in on the theming to create a distinctive that will, to some, justify the price. Also, he really wanted to get his "fix," as you put it,one night at Steakhouse 71, but they were so far behind his scheduled reservation that he had to cancel in order to make it to a conference event.Yeah I don't hate the look of the room itself but the price they are asking does not make it worth it.
It was my first resort stay way back when so there is some sentiment for me, but I'm not going to break the bank to stay there. I'm fine with getting my fix at one of the restaurants.
