I just saw an advert on the TV for Finding Nemo on ice and thought my boys would love to go and see it.The last time we got to see one of these shows was 4 years ago..Toy Story on ice and it was amazing.

Two years ago the Disney Princess on ice was here in Belfast but having 2 boys they were not at all interested.

So went online to find out a few details about it. It is in Liverpool, Nottingham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Manchester, London, Birmingham and Sheffield.

What about us?? We have an amazing venue here in Belfast The Odyssey and I am sure there must be good venues North of the border too.I feel sad that we have to miss out on these great shows.:sad2:

It is on in Glasgow at the moment - my BF went last weekend and said it wasn't as good as previous ice shows :confused3

thats not good, i am going to see this in London on 01st Nove, booked tickets in april when they were on pre order and have been really looking forward to it! :wizard: heres hoping its not too bad!

I am sure it will be good - its Disney :thumbsup2

Oh that's a terrible shame, Tracey.

We're going to see it and have the choice of London or Birmingham. We always choose Birmingham because although it's more mileage it's easier to get to.

We always moan that it never comes to the South but at least we can get to it by road or rail, you don't even get that option. :sad2:

Julie, I'm hoping it's going to be good, the advert reminded me of the Nemo show at WDW's AK. :thumbsup2

My missus and are are going to see this tomorrow in Liverpool, so I'll post a quick review when we get back :)

I'm surprised - there doesn't seem to be any venue listed outside of England (not even Wales). I'm especially surprised that there's no date in Ireland (Northern or Republic of), because you can't exactly drive to England like people in Scotland or Wales could.

You mean you actually trust those trains to turn up on time and get you to Birmingham? I used to travel that line when they were run by Virgin and they never used to turn up. You could set your watch by the spare empty platform at Reading station due to the late train :rotfl:

Snap! We only ever have a choice of London or Birmingham and London is just too much hassle - at least Birmingham is an easy but long drive. For us it would be so much better if they added Exeter, Plymouth or Bristol.

Me and my disney mad missus went and saw this in Liverpool today at 3:45, both having never seen any disney ice shows before.
The kids who were there seemed to really love it, and whilst it was a professional and smart performance, neither of us think that we'll bother going to any of the future disney on ice's.
It was a nice diversion after a day of shopping (well, an afternoon in the pub for me watching the god Torres destroy Everton while the missus hit H&M etc!) and for £15 each we couldn't complain, but I really think this is MAJORLY geared to kids, more than any disney show at the parks (beauty and the beast, nemo the musical, legend of the lion king etc).
Also slightly disappointing in our heads to walk out of a disney show to not then be in a disney park!! :rotfl: Just force of habit to want to head off to BTM or something else thrilling!! :) Not really their fault I guess!
As I said, the costumes, performance etc was excellent, so for those with tickets I'm sure that you'll love it! :goodvibes
We're also going to Beauty and the beast in Blackpool next month, which hopefully will be great! popcorn::

Thanks for posting. I'm sure we'll love it though ~ we've seen the last two and thoroughly enjoyed them.

We saw Beauty and the Beast last summer and it was excellent. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the review, i am really looking forward to it now! i loved the last 2, i prefered the princeses on ice more than the incredibles on ice but i am so looking forward to nemo.

I am taking my Nephew who will be 3.5 and is absolutly disney mad, he spent to whole trip on the underground last year saying "we are going to disney" again and again, so was a little confused when we got to the O2 and said "this isnt the real Disney" so i had to explain that they come and visit all the special children that havent been lucky enough to go to the real disney! I also take my friends 2 little girls, so a 7 and a 10 year old, we all really enjoy it so are very excited to see Nemo!!!

We saw this last weekend and have to agree that we thought it wasn't as good as the last two (Princesses and Incredibles). I think this was partially as it was a re-run of the film (the others had more variety) and partly because the fishes eyes were in a rather odd place of the skaters anatomy which made it rude to stare if you catch my drift :lmao: .

They were advertising a Mickey's magic show and another Princess show but neither have a Scottish date  .I'm hoping this will change.

We still have High School Musical to see at Christmas in Glasgow . We're soaring :rolleyes1 , flying :rolleyes1

DW and I are going to see this at the O2 on the 2nd Nov. The last Disney on Ice show we went to was Mickey & Minnie’s Magical Journey at Wembley Arena in 2005. DW loved this as it featured Lilo and Stitch.

Mickey's magic show, when is this on? I desperatly want to get tickets to see this.
