Finding Characters

I searched and can not find this thread so I hope you all can help. Where are the places you have run into characters.

I know there's a shop on Main St that often has characters inside. Any where else.

when we were there last week we found character in the main hub at MK all the time. One by train station, one right in main hub, and two or three others around the hub. In MGM we found them around the big hat three or four at a time. Characters seemed very frequent. Toon town has tents you can go in and meet characters. Special tent for mickey. Other tent has three lines one for pooh characters, one for princesses (snow white, aurora, & cindy day we went), other line was minnie, goofy & donald (next day minnie, pluto & donald). We found lilo and stitch on path leading back to festival of lion king. In MK we always found characters between POC & jungle cruise It was Chip and Dale rescue rangers and captain hook & mr. Smee. Cosmic chip and date were right outside of COP all week.

Toon Town opens at 10 am. Go the entrance to Toon Town at about 9:45-9:50. Unless it is rainy, 5-7 characters hang out there before Toon Town opens. Of course, go to the tents to see Mickey and his buds, the princesses and the Pooh crowd in air conditioned comfort. (That is also where you can get mouse ears with your name sewn on them.)

They also bring characters to an open spot at the very end of Toon Town, near the train station. On our last day at MK- a busy Sunday - we were planning to ride the train from Frontierland to Main Street. When the train stopped at Toon Town, we saw a bunch of characters just right there, so we got off. I bet there were 9 characters there, with almost no waits. After we'd seen everybody, we got back on the train and went to Main St. The characters on Main St. had LONG lines to see them!

The best place we found Mickey and Minnie were on the City Streets in MGM. Sorcerer Mickey was inside a bldg., and Minnie was outside by her trailer. We had no waits! (I think no one knew they were there.)

We were one of the only ones to meet the character bus at the entrance to World Showcase in Epcot. Lots of characters there.

Genie hangs out in Morocco. In fact, if you explore many of the countries there are characters hanging out there.

Toon Town...Go to Mickey's house to Meet the Mouse! The tent usually has the most characters...in April..one room had Princesses (Aurora,Cinderella & Snow White) The other room had Pooh & friends & The last room had Minnie with Chip & Dale. By Buzz Light Year ride...Buzz is usually hanging out & by Stitch's Great Escape ride...Stitch is usually hanging out.

In Epcot there is a character bus...11am is the first bus...go down towards the water...the American Pavillion will be directly ahead of you....bus stops there. There is also a little store right there in case you need more film! Over in the countries you will see in Moracco...Alladin, Jasmine & Jeanie. Pooh, Piglet, Tigger in England. Have seen Donald in Mexico.

In AK...There are character meet & greet trails...we tend to get tons of pics in the AK. You will find Lilo & Stitch, Flick & Princess Ada and Mickey & friends.

MGM...in front of the Sorcer's hat...characters appear all day. Sorcerer Mickey has his own Meet & Greet. (Past the Little Mermaid & Millionaire like you are heading towards the Backlot tour) YOu will also see in that same area...JoJo's Circus characters. Mike & Sully by the ABC commissary. Buzz, Woody, & Jesse by Al's Barnyard.

Get all the maps for each park & you will see a Mickey glove pointing to the areas for character meet & greet. We always luck out & get some great shots! Happy character hunting!
