Ok, I challenge you all to provide proof that disney is running busses from the ttc to the magic kingdom. A pamphlet, a picture of a sign stating this or an actual person who has taken this bus since the september 1, 2014 schedule started.

Rules
Do not respond if your answer is to:

Take a bus from resort to mk entrance.
Take a boat or ferry.
Take a taxi or any other mode of private transportation.
Walk.
Take any monarail route.
Is here say from another blog or post.

Good luck!

So... do you think there is no bus?

What has changed since the 28th when you were happy to receive the info about the buses?

Hopefully someone will read your post and take time from their MK day to find a sign and take a picture for you!:cheer2:

I figure I'm allowed to respond, since I wasn't saying any of the forbidden things or replying with forbidden links*. :)

Plus, I read your previous posts and saw that you're driving in from offsite. So you need a way to get from TTC to MK. I do, however, wonder if somehow you think there will be no way for you to get there from TTC?

While I do question some things that Disney does, I personally highly doubt if they will leave all the offsiters (or onsiters who just like to drive, like me) sitting there in their cars at TTC, with no way to get over to MK to spend lots of money all day. :)

*(though I do believe that Josh from easywdw is a really solid source of info)

Responses from joelkfl (Disney Transportation employee last I knew) is good enough for me.

The 9/1 schedule change only affects monorail closing times; nothing has changed in the morning from the summer.

BUT -- we have moved from summer season to a time of much lighter attendance. I really don't know whether the buses are running every morning now. I've seen buses staged at TTC for MK, and the deputy sheriff has been in position to stop traffic for them, but if the Ferryboat is running and can handle the crowds, they might not activate the buses. (I don't know what time the Ferryboat is starting up now either.)

The buses to MK load in the Mouse House, which is right next to the Epcot Monorail entrance. Just head in to TTC behind the ticket booths and follow cast directions.

You posted a challenge and offered good luck. What is the prize? A long term poster, a transportation CM, has given you the information you requested. You don't believe him:confused3 A poster who claimed to have taken such a bus could be lying. A poster offering a picture of a sign could have created the picture on photo shop.

I'll play the game. I'll challenge you to find a single post from joelkfla which gives you any reason to doubt the accuracy of his information.

Never one to follow arbitrary rules but it begs to be said: why would a guest skip the first attracton(s) ferry or monorail in favor of a bus? That said wdw won't leave you hanging in attempt to get to mk.

In another post the OP wrote "Are their buses from the ttc to the magic kingdom? Other than resort buses their is no way to make the opening show with the ferries and monarail opening so late. Fall 2014 schedule. Staying off site & parking at ttc."

It's not necessarily wanting to take a bus, but that the other modes of transportation aren't running normally.

:thumbsup2gotcha, thanks. I will restate that unless it's going to become a onsite perk to be bused to the MK opening:confused3 (something we haven't felt the need to 'do' in 10 years thank goodness!), there will be buses from TTC.

imo doubtful Disney would want to deal with a sudden rash of valet parkers @ CR:rolleyes1

It could very well happen, though with no prize listed for the challenge winner, I can't imagine why anyone would do that for this post.

It amazes me that the OP has been previously helped by the (always helpful) transportation CM who posted earlier in this thread (and countless other threads) and other people, yet still requires proof, in the form of a photo (which as stated before could be photoshopped), of something that has been the subject of hundreds of posts on these boards, and other boards, blogs, etc.

In order to go out of my way to not follow someone else's arbitrary rules not set by the DIS itself, I will say that you can ride buses from TTC to MK, if there's no other form of transportation running between the two, or you can:

- take a bus from resort to MK if staying onsite
- take the ferry
- take any monorail route that is running

And I echo the advice of referencing easywdw whenever possible. Very good information.

Good grief!

You make a terrific point.

I think that sentence was me trying to be positive. It replaced a sentence that, maybe, wasn't so much on the positive side. ;)

Disney can, and sometimes does, limit the number of people allowed to valet park. So a sudden rush of people trying to valet would be no problem for them. But maybe a problem for the people trying to valet park.

It's not mysterious. Buses are run between Magic Kingdom and Transportation & Ticket Center when guest demand warrants. However such busing is rare, even at park closing, when the monorail and ferry are both up and running at full capacity.

On some mornings the first ferry and first express monorail from TTC might not depart until 20 minutes before public (posted) opening time.

At some times of the year, one MK-TTC ferryboat can handle mid day hours (up to about 1000 guests per hour) even with the monorail out of service and no substitute buses.
