FINALLY!! Window treatments for my bay window!!! (pics)

It only took a year and a half since getting our new windows to get blinds for the new bay window! SO much better than that old sheet!! LOL!!!!

Pictures are below...they are actually a light grey, although in the daylight they look white.

Oh....you can see my DH's "hoop-dee" in the driveway too....isn't it just "beautiful"?? LOL!....He drives about 70 miles round trip for work....and we only had a Suburban and a Dodge Ram...sucked way too much gas!!!

Nice! We don't have any window coverings on our dining room bay windows and we've been here almost 6 years. For awhile I couldn't figure out what I wanted, and finally decided on some, but now am afraid what one of our dogs would do to them (she is always at that window watching people and dogs walk by and goes nuts when she sees a dog). And now we have kittens, too. Maybe when the kittens are older and I will then keep them pulled up so Sheena can still see outside.

The bay window is also Mabels favorite spot to stand on and bark at anything that moves outside...LOL!!

I was a little worried...still am...but she has been really good with them. If we leave her alone at home, we pull them totally open. I have been shutting them at night and she hasn't once tried to get through them even if she heard a noise...she just barks at the blinds..LOL!!!

We bought them at JC Penney. They are Hunter Douglas....it was the only brand that had a grey shade we wanted. It was explained to me as well that Hunter Douglas never goes on sale either...I did alot of pricing on them and JC Penney was about 300 less than Home Depot and other blind stores. We did get a 100 rebate on them....so that is better than nothing I guess!

Lisa, Very nice! My mom got vertical blinds for her livingroom from J C Penney.
I have a large window behind my bed that faces the back of the house and driveway. I have the horizontal blinds for that window. However, Dudley, my little Shih Tzu, when he sees we're leaving, likes to run into my bedroom, hop on the bed and poke his little head thru the slats to see us as we get in the car! It really is the funniest thing to see his head thru the slats but he has ruined my blinds!!! I am going to replace with the verticals reall soon.
