I was finally at DCA on a day when Aladdin was showing, and without my 4yo who I knew wouldn't sit through it. So my 1yo and I got to see the show...up until Jafar tells Jasmine and the sultan that Aladdin was put to death...and then Jafar's microphone stopped working.

The actors left the stage, and then about 30 seconds later, there comes an announcement that due to technical difficulties, that showing was being cancelled. :sad2:

I would have tried to see the next show, but I knew that DD wouldn't tolerate sitting still that long for a second time.

What we saw was great though!

That's disappointing that you didn't get to see the whole thing. But you've seen more of it than I have! We tried to see it last summer but DS(3) started yelling after the opening song so I had to take him out. I'm really hoping to see it before it goes away!

How disappointing! :( It's a great show...I'm glad you got to at least see some of it though!

(I had no idea that what sounds like a single microphone problem could result in the whole show being canceled. I sure hope that doesn't become a regular occurrence!)

How sad... It was just about to get to the better parts...

A parade with a full size elephant, the Magic Carpet flies, "A Whole New World", and the Genie has several chances to ad lib...:lmao:

You should go back a see the complete show.

Its funny they dont have a backup microphone on hand just in case you know :confused3 I am sorry you never got a chance to see the rest.
