tomorrow is My youngest graduation from Elem. school
this has been a crazy last week or so

Same here. Today my boys are taking the Earth Science Regents. In my district they all take it in 8th grade. They do well in science and don't think they need to study, so it has been a crazy week here too. I keep telling them that this goes on their permanent record and if they do fail they have to retake it, because they have to pass it with the new standards.

My girls will be out on Friday ( Thurs & Fri1/2 Days) My youngest graduates from K-garten!!

Wow! I can't imagine getting out so late - we have been done since 5/26. BUT I bet you guys start later. My two will register for classes on 7/30 and they start classes on 8/7.

Congratulations on them getting out we end before Memorial Day here and my summer is half over as I am due back on July 18th for 2 weeks of preservice before our actual report date for teachers July 31.

Yup we don't restart until the Tues after Labor day

I'm glad to hear all the kids are starting to finally get out of school for the summer... Our kids are like KAMommy's kids.. we got out on 5/26.. Next year we get out on 5/29 (DS's birthday so of course that is the only reason they are getting out that day; his birthday present provided by the school system. Yeah, right kiddo).. Anyway, this year we return to school on Friday, 8/18.. Yes a Friday! I don't understand why..and I have a kindergartner this year so it should be fun having him in bed early on one night to let him stay up a little later the following night.
