This isn't going to be glamorous LOL I'm tired but I wanted to give folks the gist of where we ate and what was best :)

Day 1: Lunch at Cosmic Ray's: The three of us (2 adults, 1 child, age 8) split two orders of chicken strips and fries, and they were delicious. I must say that overall I was very impressed with the counter service this trip, everything was hot, delicious, and convenient.

Dinner at Ohana: I regret to say that Ohana really slipped a notch this trip :(
We got our ***********, even though we had to wait well past our PS time (was a very busy Friday night) they very kindly seated us at the PERFECT window table just as the lights were dimming for Wishes. We literally hit the seats and then the first firework went off.

But the food...

Our entire appetizer platter was ice cold. I should have asked for another one, but everyone was over hungry and had already begun eating it before I realized. My FIL, who is a vegetarian couldn't find anything he wanted to eat and that made me feel bad until our waiter asked why his cousin wasn't eating LOL. FIL told him, and he came back with something special for him; tofu and grilled veggies on skewers. FIL was in heaven. He raved and raved.

As for our food...the first round of steak was burnt beyond recognition, the second round was practically mooing. The shrimp was the best, the turkey was blah. I was just really let down by what had been an INCREDIBLE meal our first trip. Our waiter was also very slow and VERY hard to find. Drinks ran out and couldn't find him for refills for at least 20 minutes.

Will definitely think before going back next trip, we might skip it. It just wasn't good this time.

Day 2: Breakfast at the Bakery in the MK: Pastries, fabulous. Coffee tasted like mud. Nowhere NEAR enough seating. Was much better off getting our pastry at the Food and Fun center at the CR instead.

Lunch: Pizza Planet. Pizza was good, everyone cleaned their plates and we were on our way.

Dinner: Harbor House. First time having the chowder and man, it was great, and we had 3 new englanders in our party! Dd was happy with her fries. FIL had the sandwhich with the broccoli slaw and didn't stop raving. Will definitely be back.

Day 3: Breakfast: Commissary, MGM Studios. Great quick service for cereal, juice, and then off on our way. ADORABLE lady at the counter insisted on carrying our tray because we were struggling with the wheelchair and with child in tow. She was so sweet. We tried to tip her, she refused to take it, but smiled so big. What a doll she was, I wish I had written down her name.

Lunch: Gee, I forget LOL

Dinner: We ended up out at Downtown Disney at Earl of Sandwhich. After all the reviews, I was surprised that our meal was so-so. They even grill the bread on the peanut butter sandwiches and my daughter cried because she felt bad for ordering it and not wanting to eat it. Told her not to cry because I didn't know it was toasted or I wouldn't have ordered it. We took her to McDonalds for a happy meal and she was thrilled (the McD's food was REALLY good, too! great french fries.) I forget what DH had but I had at (at Earl) the hot roast beef and the tomato soup which was so hot I had to wait 15 minutes before eating it. We'll skip this place next time.

Day 4: Breakfast, Concourse Steakhouse
Was starving this morning and wanted eggs and bacon. Everything here was wonderful as usual. Had Magic Kingdom Express with a Sticky Mickey, mmmmmmm. Lovely server too. Great coffee. Loved freaking people out by waving to them as monorail passed. Great food and fun had by all. Highly recommended.

Now it's starting to get fuzzy where we ate and when so I'll just start throwing out random reviews at you.

Dinner: Chefs de France. Once again, the finest meal I have ever had on WDW property, in fact, the finest meal anywhere. Potato leek soup/lobster bisque to die for. Beef filet, mouthwatering. I forget what everybody else had but everyone was thrilled and had dessert too: the cream puffs with ice cream are my favorite; DH loved the creme brulee. A meal not to be missed, and we cannot wait to go back!

Room service, CR: This time, left a bit to be desired. Burger was tough and almost cold. Beef Barley soup was yummy. DD's spaghetti was the best thing on the list. Next time we'll order a pizza, which we have had at CR before and which is yummy.

Other counter service we had:

Back to Harbor House again, we also ate at Casey's twice; excellent service, great quick and yummy food, favorites of everyone in our party :)

Electric Umbrella, excellent fast food!

Food and Fun Center, CR: Loved it for breakfast and late-night chocolate milk and orange juice to take back and stick in the fridge in the room.

Dinner: California Grill.

This was my in laws favorite meal. The view, the service (Dale was wonderful!) the food was incredible. I had the filet (without the sauce, the way I prefer it) and the wonderful mac and cheese as an appetizer. DD loved it for her main course. MIL and DH had the pork tenderloin and said they have tasted better. MIL raved about the polenta side dish too. FIL had pumpkin soup and a couple other veggie appetizers. We split desserts and though the bill came to about 200.00 including tip for 5 of us (a deal, we don't drink LOL) we felt it was worth every penny, and every single bit was delectable. Saw Wishes from the 15th floor, a memory we will not ever forget.

If I can remember any more places we ate, I'll add them on but I think that about covers it!

Favorite new discoveries (for me) Harbor House clam chowder. Yummmm.

Best of old favorites: Chefs de France and also Cali Grill.

Biggest letdown this trip: Ohana. They need to kick it back up a notch to get back to where they were last time we ate there.

Hope this helps some folks with their planning! and don't forget to leave room for those ice cream cones, pop corn, and cotton candy along the way.

That's good to know. We are carnivores, but I also love tofu and grilled veggies. Maybe I'll ask for a 1/2 skewer of each next time to go with my meat.

Thanks for the reviews ... until I went low-carb the veggie sandwich at Columbia Harbor House was my favorite lunch :).

Thanks for your reveiws! We too are big fans of the Concourse Steakhouse. The Sticky Mickeys are the best!

Thanks for the excellent reviews. I'm sorry to hear about Ohanas, it's one of our favorites.
