Finally I got a dream!

So I'm back from my disneyland trip, I might do a trip report I'm not sure yet as my camera was stolen from our rental car (fortunately we had uploaded most of our pictures onto the laptop).

Anyways, it was a Friday morning and three people in our party wanted to sleep in, so my sister and I went to the park alone that morning with plans to meet the rest of our party at about 10:30. At about 10am that morning, sis and I head to fantasy land, over by Dumbo we see two dream team people walking by. I figured they must have already given their dreams so my sister and I just stood there talking about where to go when I noticed the dreamers started to run, they ran just behind dumbo and pulled out their dream fastpasses. There was nobody there so my sister and I ran over and got our dream. I got my picture with them and as my sister and I were leaving a few women saw our passes and started screaming and shouting to their families "HURRY UP!!!" Then they started to shove us shouting, "OUT OF THE WAY! MOVE!" and ran up the hill to get their passes. Not very friendly ladies! But it doesn't matter, I got my first dream. Of course the rest of our party did not get dreamed but you snooze you lose!

FYI for others. If someone in your party gets Dream FP while you're on a ride or whatever, go to City hall and they will give the others in your party the FPs.

I have heard that if some of your party is not there with you when you are dreamed, you can take them to City Hall and tell them where you were and at what time you were dreamed and the CM will give the missing members a dream FP... Anyone else heard if this is true?

Forgot to say congrats! I was too busy typing my reply and informing DH on the phone to keep his eyes open for the Dream Team when we're there in November. Can you post a photo of you with the Dreamers? Dh soesn't kmow what they look like. HE dwells on the Mice chat boards even when I tell him over and over that DIS is the BEST!!!

Yes you can go to City Hall and get Dream FP for the rest of your party if they are not with you when you get dreamed. My DD and I got dreamed one morning after riding Snow White while my DH and mom were riding JC. We went up to City Hall and they asked where I got the passes and what time, verified it and gave my DH and mom their own set of passes! Gotta love those Disney CMs!

Yes, you can do this. (We did on our last trip, when DS4 and I got dreamed while DS8 and DH were stuck near the beginning of the Nemo line and the ride was down.) We all had to go to City Hall together, had to tell them where we were dreamed, and approximately what time, and then they gave us two more passes.

Unless, of course, you want to teach the sleepyheads in your party a lesson, that "if you snooze you lose." Christina, that line totally cracked me up!!!

I really hope we get dreamed when we go in December. We never even saw the dream team last December when we went. I guess it's all timing.

Get out! I did NOT know you could do that, my dh was so sad but was trying to be okay with it. Had I known we definitely would have gotten him one. We really didn't need to use them as the longest line was 10 minutes but it's just about being dreamed.

I will once I have my pictures on the computer. We transferred them to the laptop at the hotel now I just have to transfer from the laptop to my main computer.

I also forgot to mention that we were asked to ride in the wheelhouse!! Okay, maybe I should do a trip report. It was such a dream come true trip.

And for everyone that hasn't been dreamed, just keep your eye out. I have been countless times since the dreams promotion has been on, and on my last day for probably the last time I will go while the promotion is on I got dreamed. I think hanging around Fantasyland area in the morning seems to be the best bet.
