Dinner tonight at Lumiere's - sorry some of these are blurry, I think my camera must have been on the wrong setting, some are so bad I'm not posting them!

Second port Tunis, Tunisia.

We did the Bardo Museum and Medina for families tour.

Our first stop was the Bardo Museum.

It's full of various mosaics, frescos and statues from all over the country. It was undergoing construction while we were there and I think it's due to last a while. It didn't affect what we saw really, there were a lot of things to see. It did get a little crowded in some areas as all the groups seemed to be going at the same pace and the same time But if you waited a minute or two they would move on and it was easier to see things (but not to hear the guide!)

The museum is housed in an old Turkish Palace, you can still see the ornate ceilings in some areas.

As this tour was for kids too they did an activity while the adults toured the museum. They were making their own mosaics!

This room was practically filled with a mosaic that was being restored

12.7 metres is about 40 feet

These things were found in a ship wreck - and the blue is from the lights there, not sure why they had it like that? But it's quite a cool effect.

This was up stairs - there were a lot of stairs up and down which I don't think Disneys description of the tour conveyed all that well.

You got a great view from up there

Back to the kids, they were almost finished

I took these from the bus as we headed to the Medina - old town.

Our driver told us that if a house is painted you then have to pay tax which is why some were't painted

We walked through the souk - market and were then taken to a store that mainly sold rugs. We were able to go up onto the roof of here, it was a great view but very bright!

Next stop Naples, Italy.

Today we went on the Timeless Pompeii and the Flavour of Sorrento tour

Approaching the port, it was quite hazy that morning.

The bus stopped before Sorrento and we were able to get out and take pictures

This was practically a sheer drop

The bus stopped in Sorrento and dropped us off near a shop. They made furniture with veneer finishes, the prices were a bit beyond our range but there was no pressure to buy anything.

We were all given a voucher for a free drink at one of the cafe's in the town which I though was nice. Then we set off by foot to have a look around.

Lots of little shops and there were a lot of narrow lanes

They even had Pinnochio

We walked past this cafe and it looked so beautiful with the light coming through the parasol

The voucher was actually for a British Cafe!

They even did beans on toast - a classic British dish

Our next stop was a local farm where they make (among other things) olive oil and mozerella which we found out how they made. It was beautiful on the farm.

They had all sorts of animals

There were tons of lemon trees

There were lots of cured meats hanging in here
