Well, the time has finally come and we will be leaving April l5th for the Polynesian resort. I just want to say thank you all so very much for all of your ideas and support. You may not remember but one of my firsts posts here asked why you all with autistic children want to put so much work into taking a child with this problem. My dgd is 4 now and at the time I had written to you all, my heart was broken. Now, I am so happy and excited because you made it all better for me. I want so very much for my son and daughter-in-law to feel like they can get out in this world with Chloe and enjoy themselves again. You have made the biggest difference for me and my family, I can't thank you enough. I have a notebook where I printed out so much information you all gave me and all of the little helpful hints. I will let you know how it goes, we are all soooo excited. Love you. Connie

Hope you all have a great trip.:yay:

I most certainly remember you!!! Have a WONDERFUL trip and I can't wait to read your trip report. My daughter just turned 4 and we stayed at the Contemporary last year when she was 3. Disney is a magical place and they were so accomodating to her needs. God Bless you for doing this for your son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter.

Thanks, couldn't have done it without you guys. You have been an inspiration to me and to my family. It is funny because my son and daughter-in-law ask if there is any new information and they love reading all of the info you have put me in touch with. When I first came to this site my dgd would not talk. Now she knows most of the Disney characters and calls them by name and her favorites are Ariel and Flounder. She is doing quite well and we just keep plugging along. I will let you all know what happens.

Please post a report when you get back to let us know how the trip went. Wishing you lots of Disney Magic for you and your family!

Hope you have a great trip! We will be close by for the first couple of nights at The Grand Floridian. We have been taking ds12, an Asperger's kid, to WDW since he was just under 2 years old. It is a vacation that works for our family - after all this time he is very familiar with his surroundings and it is like our second home. We are really looking forward to this trip...

My thoughts are with you. There are many people out there that have kids with these issues. My ds is bipolar and we have had many successful theme park trips over the years. His favorites though are the beaches, the forests and the quiet places.....

Have a great time and let us all know how your trip was, either good, bad or medium.
