I just did it! I paid $500 and DVC has sent out my paperwork. I'm very excited, DVC is something I've always wanted to be a part of. I'll be paying for financing , I know I should have waited until we had the cash but I'll be paying for it out of VA disablility money so it's not like I have to use bill money for it. Is this thread going anywhere you ask? Not really I'm just happy and want everyone to know I'm sure I'll have questions so I'll be back!

My daughter and I both signed up yesterday! Our husbands were not with us, but we made the decision and jumped in. We are very excited! Using our points to go on the 11 night cruise in September on the Wonder! Very exciting! Congratulations... you'll love it.

So... do you have your first trip home planned??

I've been busy trying to figure out how many points I can bank and borrow to get as many as I can to go on a big trip in 2010 for our 10 year anniversary. But in the mean time I need to rent the 2005 points out so we can go to Disneyland. It'll bebetter for us to stay in a Good Neighbor Suite Hotel. The points outside of DVC hotels are pretty high. If I can talk my husband into it, I would like to go to SSR or OKW for Christams. We'll see
