Finally Going Back To Disney But When?

After trying to convince my husband for 5 long years to go back to Disney he has finally seen the light...lol...We are trying to decide on dates and need help with the crowds and weather. It will be just the two of us. We are thinking the week of May 7th or the week of September 10th, which is the week after Labor Day. Any suggestions?

I think both are great choices. Sept will be low crowds, due to kids being back in school right after labor day, but it will be very hot, humid, rainy, and hurricane season. May will be better weather, and I don't think crowds are bad at all in early May.

I think the weather is better for the May dates with highs in the 80's versus 90's and humidity in September. I'm going the week before you due to those considerations.

September historically has lower crowds, but after this past fall who really knows anymore?

I think I'd go in May because you can still get some Flower & Garden action. We enjoyed it a lot more than we expected.

I would choose May. I think there are less crazy daily thunder and lightning storms.

DW and I have been several times in early to mid May, and the weather was fantastic for the most part!! 2016 we're going mid April and hoping for great weather again. The crowds for our May trips were very manageable.

If you have flexibility with your schedule I'd recommend moving your Sept date back to Food & Wine, avoiding Columbus Day week. Oct has weather similar to Summer throughout the rest of the country without a lot of rain.
