I have nothing to burst your bubble...although I'm not an expert on the dining plan with questions myself but you certainly got me thinking to take a second look at it.

I had written it off because of our kids, but that is actually the best savings part of the plan.

I think you're right. When you have a child under 10 it's a good value, especially if you do character meals. I don't think it's going to work for us this trip unless we do a ton of buffets and character meals because DD's are pretty picky at TS and they are both 'adults' in Disney's eyes now. Still not sure what we're going to do.
