We have finally booked our flights and villa for next years trip.
We had been waiting for United Vacations 2003 to go on sale, and we got the flights we wanted from Glasgow - free connecting flight - on Sat 28th June 2003. They were a great price too - even cheaper than this years prices. Yahoo

Hi Scotfan

United Vacations 2003 are on sale now, although the new brochuire is not out yet. I think the brochure for 2003 also takes in up to march 2004. You could check it out.

United give free connecting flights with BMI providing you are not travelling peak summer or over christmas.

Anyhow, the price for June next year is 479 per adult. Which I think is pretty reasonable from Glasgow. (The price for 2002 was 530 or something). A charter with Airtours or Thomsons and the like was running into 600. Unlimited kids prices - 299 this trip.

Last year we travelled to LA for a wedding in december and that was the first time we travelled with United. The service onboard was excellent.

Hi Tartan Tigger

We have rented a villa in Cumbrian Lakes - 11 of us in total!!!!
We did think about getting the Virgin flight on the Sunday, as we have never flown Virgin before and always wanted to do it, but the convenience of Glasgow won over in the end!!!


By the way, i can't believe that so many people have already booked for next summer!!!!!! Some flights are already full!!

Crikey - it's quite scary how people book up so soon (we booked our trip over a year ago for October, mind you ).
