I just booked a trip for a Disney cruise to the Bahamas in early November, via DVC using our extra points we have accumulated.

I am used to DVC asking me who is going with you, and I just state my partner's name (Jay) and whoever else is going. But this time it was "And is your wife going with you?", and I laughed thinking about it, and I said no my partner "Jay" is. I didn't get any good or bad reaction from the cast member, but I had to contain myself from being silly on the idea of having a wife.

She (the agent) was very helpful with making all the arrangements, none the less of my being silly.

Whenever something like that occasionally happens, I still get silly about the question and wait for a reaction.

Someday I hope I can answer that question, "No I am bringing my husband with me" and try to control my silliness.

I use the term husband in those situations, although it's not legal (and being Florida, probably wont be for a while).

The reactions from that can be fun too :rotfl2:

I like it when they ask "And what is your wife's name?" and I get to answer "Scott!"

:lmao:
