Finally . . . a decent car rate

After adding 2 people to our trip to Daytona after Disney, I needed something bigger than my $209, 9 day mid size car. I have been searching for days for an SUV only to have rates as high as $900+. Today, Budget gave me a standard SUV for a total $385! Thanks Budget! You're the greatest.

That still seems quite high. I'd keep looking to see if you can get a more favourable rate. We have an 8-day SUV rental for August (so only one less day than your reservation) and our total is $245, taxes in (w/National).

Wow, how did you get the National deal? The cheapest I have found was over 400 for any SUV for my 9 days. I just rather use Disney transport at this point.

Have you checked recently? Prices are high right now. It's kind of a hit or miss with deals. Right now a standard SUV at National is $860 with taxes (no code used).

I wil continue to look but we are needing in less than 2 weeks.

Yup, I just ran the rates recently.....in fact, I just ran my dates again right now. Without the code and coupon = $642 taxes in. With the code and coupon, the price reduces to $249 taxes in. A huge difference.

You are welcome to stick with the reservation you have with Budget, but I just thought I'd toss out a possible alternative that might save you some money. While you may not have an Entertainment Book coupon to combine with the KLM code, there are several different public coupons on National's website which don't expire until the end of July which you could also apply to a reservation.

The other nice thing about National vs. Budget is you get to select your vehicle (Budget assigns you something).
