Hello All,

I am going in less than 50 days. I was finalizing my park reservations for my trip. I currently have a 9 Day Park Hopper.

My current plan is for my arrival day, I will be at my hotel around noon. I have lunch reservations and dinner reservations at EPCOT, I don't plan to do anything except dine that day.

I have the current plans
Monday- Magic Kingdom- open til 10pm- Be Our Guest Lunch
Tuesday- Magic Kingdom- open til 6pm- Jungle Nav Co Dinner
Wednesday- EPCOT- open til 9pm- Space 220 Dinner
Thursday- Magic Kingdom- open til 6pm- Shiki Sai Dinner
Friday- Animal Kingdom- open til 7pm- Tiffins Dinner
Saturday- Hollywood Studios- open til 9pm- Ogas mid-day and Sci-Fi Dine In Dinner
Sunday- Hollywood Studios- open til 9pm- noon Savi's build and Round Up Rodeo Dinner
Monday- EPCOT- open til 9pm- Noon San Angel Inn- Dinner Terralina Disney Springs.

My main concern is if 3 Days at Magic Kingdom is too much, and whether I should switch it out for a second Animal Kingdom or EPCOT day? Does this look like a good spread and plan? Let me know your thoughts. I do have Park Hopper, so I can jump around after 2pm. I also know I will need a rest day, I was thinking Thursday might be that day and I can do a short day in a park at a slow pace and then relax for the rest after noon or something, or opposite, relax then head in after noon. This is my first solo trip after having COVID twice and just generally getting older, so while I never needed a rest day before, I think I will now, and that is why I planned a longer trip. Thank you for your help with this.

One general thought: you have planned TOO much. You're basically doing a 12 hour park day every day for 8 straight days. Your body, and your feet in particular, are going to hate you. I would scale it back. Instead of worrying that you have planned too much MK days, maybe turn one of those into a half day visit. Work some break time into your schedule

Oh, sorry, I just put the hours on there for people to know what the hours were. I am most certainly planning on leaving after Dinner time for most days, except I plan to watch Fantasmic during one of my HS days. I apologize, my body absolutely could not do open to close without going back mid-day for a nap and relaxation. Which I might do, instead of turning in early?

Even with midday breaks, that's a lot of park time and a lot of time around crowds. I realize you'll be solo so you can go at your own pace but I know for sure I'd need some downtime outside of a park for a full day somewhere in that plan.
I don't how you tour but my family could not do that many park days in a row and we're a pretty fit group, avg 10-15k steps on normal at home days so hitting 20K steps a day isn't a big deal. I don't know where you're from but it's still hot in FL in Oct so 9 park hopping days without full rest days sounds like a disaster. We usually will do 2-3 park days, full resort/break day and then 1-2 more days. Our trips are much shorter as we don't do long WDW trips.

For the parks you listed each day- are these the parks you plan to hop to for dinner and start at another park? I don't see any PH plans. Outside of your one dinner at Shiki Sai on your MK day, I don't see a reason to have hoppers if you have dinner planned for every park you'll already be at.

As far as 3 days at MK, totally your call and again will depend on your touring style. If you really want to see/ride a lot there, you may need 3 days. Personally, I can't see spending 2 days at AK as that's just not a park we tend to meander as much as some of the others. But depends on your personal preference.

I don't plan to park hop, but I figured the flexibility would be worth it for this long of a trip. Maybe I will make that Thursday, which is the third MK day, into a rest day? Grab lunch at Disney Springs and Dinner at a park, but other than that just relax and not do any of the hustle and bustle? My last solo trip was only 4 days, and I felt okay at the fourth day going like this, with midday breaks, but that was before I had COVID twice. I am about the same weight as I was then, I am heavier but worked retail for 10 years so walking like that is normal for me. I think ensuring I take mid-day breaks, like post lunch, then using that Thursday as a full rest day, is smartest rather than an extra day in any park.

Three days at MK would be too much for me and I’d prefer more EPCOT time, but that is entirely personal preference. In any case, I don’t think you need to worry too much about over-extending yourself if you take lots of good, long breaks. The great thing about going that long and having park hopper is that you have a ton of flexibility to pop in and out of parks as you wish.

Just be prepared for a busy Monday at the Magic Kingdom your first day. Mondays have been very busy, especially during the Halloween Party season.
