Final Ports: Grand Cayman & Castaway Cay

We are set for two ports and need to make our plans for two more. Which beaches are best for a family with two young kids (5 and almost 2) on Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay? Should we reserve anything in advance or just go when we arrive?

Is there anything we shouldn't miss out on doing at either of these ports? Any amazing non-beach activities?

Grand Cayman is a short stop (about 4.5 hours) and Castaway Cay is more like 8 hours.

Any help will be appreciated! You guys gave me great info and we're now booked for our other ports thanks to these boards!

On Castaway Cay there is only one beach for families called the Family Beach, it's huge and closest to the ship. Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay is for guests 18 and older. On Castaway Cay floats, tubes, bikes, and snorkle equipment can be rented, no need to reserve ahead of time they have plenty available. We don't do much on Castaway Cay, just find a spot and enjoy our relaxing day. Others with children can answer what their kids like to do.

We haven't been to the beaches on Grand Cayman.
