I am helping a friend plan their first trip to Disney. They are booked at POFQ in October. If she pays her balance in full now, and discounts come out later, can she have the discount applied and receive a refund? Hope I explained that right Thanks in advance!

Yes, she can call and have a discount applied later and get a credit, provided her resort/room type is available under the promo .

Yep! Back in 2010, I had paid in full, then free dining was announced and I received a huge refund!

Sure can! As long as AKL is available under the discount, she should have no problem switching!
