I am beyond thrilled about our DL trip next month, and I need an outlet for all of my excitement! We are due to have our third, and final :upsidedow , baby in June, so this is our last vacation just the 4 of us.

Me: Natasha, 25, SAHM to my 2 darling kiddos. Disney fanatic. Disneyland is hands down my favorite place in the whole world. I love the princesses, I love the classic characters, I love the Pixar characters. Pretty much all things Disney!

DH: Bert, 28, mechanical engineer. Probably not as big of a fan as I am, but is a good sport about it, and really enjoys the parks.

DS: Ethan, 5. He LOVES Disneyland. We went last October and he had a total blast. Astro Blasters was his favorite ride, but he goes on EVERYTHING. The kid has no fear! He was intimidated by the characters at first last time, but ended up with an autograph book full of signatures and pictures by the time we went home.

DD: Kelly, 2. She also really loves Disneyland. She isn't into anything specific yet, but she just enjoys the experience, and will also go on pretty much any ride she is tall enough for. She is not intimidated by the characters, and she LOVED Goofy last time.

So, that's us. Oh yeah, and did I mention I will be 7+ months pregnant when we go!? :scared1: Yeah, I am a little crazy, but I really wanted to do something special for our kiddos before they have to share with baby #3.

So, our trip is booked. We are staying at the Carousel Inn & Suites, and have our 5 day park hoppers. We will be there from April 22-26th.

Today I made PS arrangements for Minnie's Breakfast at the Plaza Inn, dinner at Goofy's Kitchen, dinner at Cafe Orleans and early lunch at Blue Bayou, in the hopes of getting water seating!

We are driving down (I live about 6 hours away) early in the am the 22nd. We should be getting into Anaheim around 11 am, and are praying for the possibility of early check in. Spending the afternoon in DL, and our Cafe Orleans dinner is that night.

Wednesday, we have early breakfast ressies at Plaza Inn with Minnie. We're planning on hitting Playhouse Disney and Aladdin that day, with lunch at Pacific Wharf! I am really looking forward to the bread bowls! Dinner at Wine Country Trattoria. Last time we were there, we spent almost no time in DCA, so I am really looking forward to it!

Thursday, we're doing early entrance and spending the day in DL. No real plans that day except for dinner at Goofy's that night.

Friday we're having lunch at Blue Bayou and catching the fireworks. This is our only night to see them, so I plan on staking a spot out early! :3dglasses

Saturday we're just gonna play catch up, see whatever we missed that week, and get in last minute shopping. We'll probably head home after dinner, around 6:30 or 7, and get home around 1 am!

Yay, a visitor! Thanks, I am so excited!

So, we hit up our local Disney outlet to get the kids trip clothes, and I see myself going at least one time before we go. I was lucky enough to find some cute shirts that will fit over my giant belly, and I got a couple shirts for the kids, and a couple ball caps to keep them from burning their faces! Bert isn't that into character shirts, so I just have one I'll make him wear, and then he can go plain again. lol

Yay, 37 days to go! I swear, all I think about is this trip! :rotfl: I keep going back and forth on whether or not I should do more detailed plans for each day. Part of me wants to just let the kids do whatever they want, but I also want to make sure we do as much as we can!

Aw, thanks Daisy! I am super excited, and was driving my poor husband crazy, so I needed and outlet for my excitement!

I think I forgot to mention we have a car rental reservation, as well. So, all of the big plans are made. I think I am going to get the kids some Disney Crocs (hubby and I have ours already! Got them in October on our last trip!), to keep their feet hopefully cool but comfy. And we are doing spring/summer clothes shopping for the kiddos right before the trip, so that will be fun, too.

I am trying to do lots of walking in preparation for the park. We have a membership to our local zoo (the Oakland Zoo, I live in the CA Bay Area), so I'm trying to go there at least once a week and walk around with the kids.

I am also planning on doing Disney themed Easter baskets for the kids! lol :cheer2:

You almost made my heart break when I read your thread title! I was bracing myself for a story about death...

Disney owl, thanks! I am so so excited! Only 36 more days!!! lol

Yikes, sorry about that, actionvaughn! Thankfully, no one is dying! We're just getting ready to make our final addition to the family!

So, it's gotten to where I dream Disney every night... lol Think I might just be a little excited? Not much to report just yet. I am trying to pace myself so I don't have the entire trip planned a month out, and am going crazy with excitement at the end. I need to save some stuff to do for April!

So, I made dinner reservations for Wine Country Trattoria tonight. I had heard good things about it, and we're doing a DCA day, so that's where we are having dinner. I am excited!

Also, while reviewing out package tonight, I found out we have preferred seating for DCA shows! WooHoo! I am really excited about Aladdin, because of the things I have heard about it.

I am also planning on getting the kids small Disney toys/souvenirs from the Disney outlet for Tinkerbell to lay out at night to surprise them in the morning. That idea is shamelessly stolen from the Disneyland boards, btw!

Just a little over a month to go!!!!

Mmm.. Wine Country... The lasagna rustica is very good, and I've tried a million times to recreate the cheese spread they give you at the begining of the meal with no luck.. Don't forget your PS's!

PS=priority seating, right? If so, they've all been made, and are on my calendar! If not, let me know, I don't want to forget anything!! :scared:

Ok, good! We are good on PS. Aaaaaand...

OUR TRIP IS PAID FOR!!!!

Woohoo, we paid off the rest of the trip today. All that's left to do is pack and pick up the rental car. Oh, and wait a month... :rotfl: Still, so exciting to have it all ready to go.

So, I finished up shopping for "Tinkerbell gifts" today. I read about them on these boards. the kids wake up to a gift left by Tink each morning of the trip. We got them ball caps, cups with bendy straws, underwear :rotfl: , and pins for their lanyards. Hopefully this will cut down on the "I wants" while we're at the parks.

I can't believe how close the trip is getting! A very sweet and generous DISer is sending us park maps, and we'll use those to try and plan our daily itineraries. WOOHOO! :woohoo:

Very exciting - I hope you have a wonderful time. We're down to a month now and I can barely control myself too  I can totally relate! Congrats on the new addition to be!
