I got up at the crack of dawn this morning just long enough to take this before going back to bed for 1 last hour.
We had an early ADR at CP for breakfast with Pooh and his pals so we were up and getting ready by 7am.

This is the earliest we've been up so far the entire trip and it also happens to be the coldest morning hitting 29 degrees

Where or where is the warm Florida sun?

The weather guru's promise it will be back tomorrow.
We got to enter MK before the rest of the crowds and since we were 30 minutes early for our ADR

we hit up EVERY single Photopass photographer on Main St.

There were only 7 or 8 of them.
One of them even took pics of the backs of our jackets.
When we finished posing we headed over to CP and signed in. Of course, as our luck would have it the ADR system was down, but they took us anyway and we waited only minutes before our table was ready.
We got a much better table for breakfast than we had last night for dinner. This time we were all the way over on the left side as you come in the door, in the outer ring of tables. This placed us the farthest away we could be from the buffet but we didn't care about that, we were here for the characters.
DW was dressed in her Pooh and pals t-shirt and was sporting her

ears just waiting for her opportunity to see her favorite guy. She actually had to wait until after we had finished eating AND paid the check. She refused to leave until Tigger made his rounds to us and after what happened last night I didn't blame her.
When we left CP we headed in the direction of Tomorrowland to ride Buzz since we didn't stick around Saturday night to use our fastpasses. DW hit the 100,000 points on the robots hand while I had to work to score my 100,000. She beat me for the first time ever, but it was close.
As we headed over to ride SM we ran into my buddy Stitch so we stopped for a pic.
There wasn't a wait to ride SM but the CM put us into different cars of the same train. I was in the last seat of the front car of the train and DW was in the front seat of the back car of the train, and let me tell you, she was none to happy about it.

She got over it pretty quickly but it just didn't sit well with her. We are a COUPLE after all, celebrating our ANNIVERSARY.
We ran into a couple of crazy spacemen when we came out of SM on our way to Fantasyland. They were headed in for some hot cocoa but that didn't stop me from snapping a few quick shots of them.
We saw Mary Poppins hanging out by the carousel so we got a pic with her and then I had to try my hand at the sword in the stone. We actually got to see an adorable little boy pull the sword from the stone and he was made an honorary prince for the day. He was soooo proud to have pulled the sword when so many others had failed. He couldn't have been but 3 or 4 years old.
We continued walking on toward Adventureland when we noticed that there wasn't a wait for the only ride that gets in your head and won't leave. Yes, I'm talking about IASW. We rode it because you just have to ride it.
We knew that Pirate Goofy had been lurking around the POTC ride so we went looking for him. It was a successful search which made me happy as once again I was decked out in Goofy gear (t-shirt, fleece hoody and Nascar jacket). We got in line and we noticed a family that we'd seen at breakfast and apparently were "stalking" around the park (everywhere we went, they were there too)
Absolutely love the 50th Anniversary ears, especially since we have the exact same pairs at home.
It was still to cold for us to even think about riding Splash so after Goofy we settled for our 2nd favorite WDW snack....Dole Whips. They were YUMMY!!! After eating/drinking our Dole Whips we went searching for one of the new Princesses...Tiana and Prince Naveen were supposed to be out. We'd seen Rapunzel earlier, but the line was way to long for us to even think about standing in it. We had to wait for 15 minutes or so before they came out but it was worth it. While we waited another Dis'er showed up with their kids. It was the "stalker" family. LOL
About this time it was 1pm and since we were staying nearby we decided to head back to BLT to take a nap. We will return to MK later in the day to see the Main Street Electrical Parade, which neither of us has ever seen, even though we've both been to DL, and to watch Wishes. On our way out we noticed my favorite red head so we got in line.
Next up MK part 2 night time.
