First, what you have a life? Can't devote every moment to dis? Second, I don't think you are lazy at all. I have a hard time managing a PTR and a TR. Maybe that is why I have 6 days left of my january trip to still write about.

Now I don't feel so bad for having 2 days left!


LOVE that parade. I am so sad it will no longer be there. I missed it in January and October thinking "next trip"


Oh how I know that to be the truth!!!



The lights are pretty cool. I agree atmosphere is high atop my reason for going to DTD. I certainly don't spend much when I am there and shopping.
I find myself taking more photos than spending money at DTD...I'm sure that's not what Disney intended!

How fun! I am afraid most of the people I travel with are not much into the group dance parties so I am a tad jealous.

Savannah's pretty shy but just in the last couple years we have really enjoyed the dance parties. Definitely something we wouldn't do anywhere but Disney.


I am not sure what is up with DTD transportation. It seems like getting out of there takes FOREVER. The only good luck I have had is when we took a boat from POFQ or POR (although not this last January. I think then I sat in the rain waiting for EVER).

Hoping that changes a bit when they get done with all the changes to DTD?? I'm NEVER going to call it Disney Springs either.

Actually, from the research I did, we needed to check out in order for our Magicbands to work properly at Beach Club. I had read of a LOT of problems with bands not opening doors or working to charge if you don't officially check out before moving?

Poor Eleanor. I think I would feel the same way. I have never rode RnRC, and I do like the other coasters. I think it just goes too fast and the upside down parts would terrify me.

I ADORE it, EXCEPT for the takeoff. I HATE the takeoff, makes me feel like I'm free falling, but I just count through it and then I love the rest of the ride! So smooth!

Thank you for pointing out where the umbrella is. You are right ---- we never walk around that way unless we are going to Lights, Motor, Action. Now I will make sure to do it!!!

By the way, it's now June 2nd and you haven't done an update since May 28th. Not that I'm waiting or anything.......

But, but, TweedleNicole made me promise not to do any updates until she got back from her cruise!

Well I guess I’ll have to write about something then since someone won’t do an update….

Today I am at 99 days until our trip! Whoo hoo double digits baby!! Pretty soon it will be online check-in and fastpass signup! Not that I’m excited or anything! The more I read about Coronado Springs, the more I’m looking forward to it. I’m especially happy I will be staying in Business Class with use of the Club Lounge. I tell you, I’m going to be so spoiled!! Free snacks and drinks! Yahoo!

So, little Miss Victoria found out that the musical group Little Mix will be playing in DTD at Crossroads at the House of Blues on September 12th. Does Savannah know Little Mix? Victoria loves Little Mix and for the tickets and meet & greets it was less than $130!!! AND it’s right in DTD so Peter and I can be shopping around knowing she’s perfectly safe RIGHT THERE! No taxi fare either! Cha ching! No extra money to dish out!

I had to, of course, do schedule after schedule to get this all to work out ---- and to get Business Class because at first the dates were going to be Sept 11 through the 21st, but Business Class wasn’t available. This was the fun part, though because you and I both know this is an awesome part of trip planning!! Then the trip had to include our anniversary (September 18th) and then it had to inlcude the Little Mix concert with either a rest day or a “Victoria doesn’t want to go to that park day” so it ends up being Animal Kingdom day on the 13th. She will be going to Tusker House for breakfast and doing the safari, Dinosaur, and EE, but then she’ll be taking the bus back to the resort to rest (or swim, or shop……) and we’ll meet up with her later.

The flights on Southwest to go are all set and paid for by points. I’m waiting for the return flights to come down a bit, if they will. Usually SW has their anniversary sale in June, so I’m hoping.

That is AWESOME that the concert and meet and greet are so cheap! I had heard of Little Mix but don't know anything about them. Sounds like you are in perfect-planning-mode! I'm completely jealous as I'm too far out to plan much more than I already have.

I sure do wish Playlist would release tickets and room blocks. I thought last year it was in June and this year I would assume it would be sooner since it's in Feb not march next year???

Yeah... me neither. I didn't even realize they were changing the name.

I know they are making huge improvements all the time with the system. Just between October and January was huge. Maybe I can hope that it will be totally sorted out come fall. In January though... we didn't check out officially. We did check in to the new room though... so maybe that is what helped? Or the fact we had separate bands for the second half of our stay. Even though we had no issues though... I know it is has been hit or miss. I just am looking forward to when it is never a miss and always a hit.

I only run in skirts...but sadly the only true branded sparkle skirt I own is one I purchased at an expo. It is a sparkle light (so no shorts under)

I decided to purchase one to go with what I am wearing at the avengers. It came today. (oddly not in any fancy sort of box which I thought they did) I am wondering if I didn't order the incorrect size. Do they fit pretty lose? Like have ample room to stretch? I went with the same size I picked up at the expo. In this one, I can fit both arms into one leg (with my leg in it) and still have it be stretchy. Sound too big? Or is that just how they fit? I am use to wearing more compression sort of gear so this kinda surprised me.

so you think if I can cram things in and jump around and they DON"T slide I should be fine? I hate sending things back. As much as I think I would have liked the slim better... I wouldn't send it back just for that.

Edited to say... ok, tried a camera in one side and two gel packs in another and while the camera does slip around in the pocket a bit the skirt itself stays up. I should be fine. I might try a smaller size next time....

You have to join the board though and that sometimes takes a week or two (they only approve on certain days). They resell like hotcakes there. Or you could eat the shipping and send it back for a smaller size. I can tell you that it should be pretty fitted. LOL, can you picture me jumping up and down here? I am sure I looked quite ridiculous. Even though I don't tend to stop for characters... I go into the race thinking I might. So... that camera is important to bring. It slides around in the pocket but it doesnt pull the skirt down. If I put that camera (a little cannon power shot) into the waist pocket it does pull that down. I would think that is to be expected some?

Meh. nope. I think it's too big. When stuff is in my pockets, it's totally secure, no moving and I have seen other people say they are sizing down when the waist pocket pulls when something is in it. Too big for you!

Well, just to give you and update.... I called ss. The gal was great and walked me through some options. Basically with my measurements I am an odd size. So the size down is probably too small the size I ordered too big. So they could alter it... or I could insert a draw string. I will attempt the drawstring and try a run in it. If they ride up I may have them alter it. Overall though I am super excited still and very impressed with the customer service I recieved.

Since my Tweedle is back, I can officially continue with this nevereneding TR! That's funny, some of you who have been friends with me here know that I had a Neverending PRE-trip report at one point b/c we had to keep canceling trips. Guess I'm just good at neverending.

In any case, we were at my least favorite park on this lovely Tuesday morning in February but having a fantastic morning! We had just finished scaring Eleanor for life on RnRc and headed back over to the Animation area which was finally open. We walked right up and were allowed in the little waiting area and waited about 10 minutes. They were long minutes b/c I was getting HUNGRY (and pretty excited to get over to Beach Club)! Still, you can sit while you wait, so I was happy with that. We all agreed that after the class we would head to BCV.

Eleanor is pretty artistic, we were pretty excited for her to do this class. I think Savannah was looking forward to it as well. I think the last time she did it, she was 9? She was (IS) a total perfectionist and gets mad if it doesn't look exactly like the instructors...so the last time we had done it, she quit about halfway and didn't want to do it anymore. Soooo...it was new for both of them!

Ooooh, so excited when we heard who we were drawing! Any guesses???

So much fun! The girls were excited to do something Frozen-related. We had not watched the movie yet, but I did that on purpose b/c I KNEW Savannah would love it (she does...uh...we named the kitty ELSA!) and thought waiting in a line to meet Elsa and Anna for 5 hours at Epcot did not sound like fun, so I sort of avoided the movie until after the trip. I'm cruel, I know.

So...at the end of the class, I thought it was over and I went to stand up. He wanted us to do one more thing and said hold on...so I went to sit back down...

Do you know what kind of chairs are in the Animation class by any chance? Well, let me tell you. They swivel to the side when you stand up so that there is an "isle" and people can walk down it. I went to sit back down and the chair decided to swivel. So I sad down (ie: FELL ON MY AR$E!) while E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E. watched.

OMG, it was so embarrassing! And, it hurt a bit, I was still sore from the half and scraped the seat as I went down. Ever so graceful here.

After the class, we decided to head to the boat! I was so excited to get to Beach Club!

I have a thing for sitting in the back and the lifesaver. I don't know why, I just do. I think I've taken this shot every time I'm on this boat!
