Does anyone know what films are showing on the VS075 flights this month?
I know VA website gives a full list, but just wondered if anyone knew exactly which ones were on the Manchester/MCO planes?
Thanks
Tracy

No sorry.
It also depends on which aircraft you get as to if its NOVA or ODYSSEY IFE systems as Odyssey has more choice.

If it even works in your seats, only worked in 1 out of the 3 seats our last trip MCO-MAN. hole was too big for jack, just fell out again. It was worst quality plane I had been on transatlantic.

If you had a problem in PE they used to give out personal DVD players with a choice of films. DH had this on our LAX-LHR flight in 2003 and he actually preferred the film choice on the personal DVD player!

Claire ;)

We went on Jersey Girl last year and had a few problems.
Games didnt work on 2 of the screens. One of the seats wouldnt recline - just kept springing back up again and another one had a tray that wouldnt stay up.
We love flying Virgin and have booked with them again but the planes are getting a bit shabby.

Lucky to get any games as the normal aircraft have NOVA without any games.
Good news is that after the upgrade of all the Airbus aircraft this year, the 747's will be refurbihed in PE and Economy next year

If it even works in your seats,

We all have psps with our own choice of movies, games, music, photos. They are useful both prior to getting on the plane and on the plane itself if the entertainment isn't up to scratch or not working.

We are flying Virgin for the first time (day before you Wayneg) from Manchester and are very much looking forward to the greater choice in entertainment Virgin offer. I am still taking my psp in case I get a seat with a broken entertainment system though. Cannot envisage just sitting there for 9 hours with nothing to do.

The plane we flew back on last year was shabby, there were approx ten rows (including ours) that the entertainment system was not working on, it would of been ok if we could of read books but unfortunately the lights were not working either!!

I am lucky I sleep for about 7 hours out of 9. I can sleep anywhere:)

I am actually glad other people are finding Virgin shabby now. I commented about it a few months back and eveyone else seemed to have no problems.
I keep saying, they have gone from about the best carrier to near bottom for transatlantic flights, please someone start serious competition and give them a kick up the back side.

But there IS competition on a grand scale

BA
American Airlines
Continental
Delta
Northwest
United
US Airways
KLM
First Choice
TCD/XL Airways
Flyglobespam
Monarch
Thomsonfly/TUI
Are Lingus
Air France
Alitalia
BMI
Iberia
Lufthansa
SAS
TAP
Zoom
Icelandair
My Travel
Thomas Cook

The choice is large, with many great service airlines in that list (plus a few awful ones as well) covering the whole gambit of pricing and class of service, but only Virgin have sufficient passengers to run up to four flights per day direct into Orlando.
Does that not speak volumes? All the other airlines could do the same if they had enough pax wanting to fly with them.
But if you don't like a particular airline, there are so many more you can fly with, which is a fantastic position to be in as a consumer.

I do think my thread is getting a little 'off line'. It was supposed to be about the films showing on Virgin, not a complaints thread!
Can anyone answer my original question?
Thanks

Yes there are lots of flights but none other than Virgin do say 25 nights or 11 nights Direct MAN-MCO. They have no competion for this scheduled route.

Sorry tracy but its not a question that can be answered like Obi put in 2nd post, it depends which plane you get.
