Has anyone had the filet at Le Cellier lately? I just made our CP reservations and chose Le Cellier. We love Le Cellier for lunch (burgers, rueben sandwich and chedder cheese soup) but the last time I had the sirloin steak at Le Cellier (almost 2 yrs ago) I was disappointed because it was a very thin cut of meat. I like my steak thick, juicy and rare to med rare, will I be disappointed with Le Cellier''s filet? My DD wanted me to make the CP reservations for Chef de France but we ate there last yr for the CP and I wanted to try something different this year. The filet at Chefs de France was very good, btw.

We had the filet there back in May and it was very good. It was average thickness for a filet.

I just ate at Le Cellier Sunday evening and had the filet, and it was wonderful. Everything my mom and I had was delicious, including the cheese soup. You won't be disappointed.

I have never seen lobster on the menu. I wonder if we could get the lobster & filet (surf & turf) as our entree for the CP dinner package?? Probably not, but it sure would be great if we could!!!

The surf & turf was a special on the day we ate at Le Cellier. You could also add the lobster tail to any other entree for $10 extra.

Had the discovery magic package this summer and was offered the filet and lobster even though it was not on the menu. It was wonderful. Even if it is not on the menu, you may want to inquire when ordering.

Our last night, we ate at Le Cellier. The only complaint was the half hour wait -- even though we had a PS.
My husband and I both had the filet mignon with garlice mashed potatoes (I think), and it was heavenly. I believe there was some type of brandy marinade(?) It was late -- sorry.
They definitely offered a surf and turf when we were there.
It was our favorite meal at WDW. We loved the cheddar cheese soup with the pretzel bread! MMMMMMM.

I had the filet and lobster at Le Cellier about three weeks ago. It was delicious, and every bit as good as the one I had a Chefs de France on our last trip.

A couple of us had the filet with mushroom risotto at le cellier last week and loved it! It was tender, medium thickness, cooked medium-rare. The sauce was heavenly!

We also had a little wait, even with priority seating, and I didn't have the impression that the host/greeting aspects of the restaurant were well-managed.

Ditto on the cheese soup!

Okay...you people are making me hungry!

We have a PS for Le Cellier in Dec. I cannot wait to try that cheese soup! My daughter and I have been talking about it since I first saw a post on it. Yes, we looooovvveee cheese soup!

My DH and I are going there for our CP dinner package in December, now I know I will try to order the filet and lobster! YUM!!

What else is good there?

and I already want to have the Filet and Lobster. Reading this is making me very hungry. We also have PS for Le Cellier in Dec as last time we tried to get in and had no luck.

We eat there every time we go and look forward to the filet everytime. We're making our CP ressies and can't wait! I generally order med rare there as I like it red and juicy also.

i want to go there next oct. so if you were the type that has to have your meat well done, what would you order? i can not stand rare--med. rare.

You can get them well done, or burnt as my husband requests. (He doesn't really like it burnt; only completely cooked through.) They cooked his steak enough for him. They did butterfly it to ensure it would cook all the way through.
