Fieldwork research company--feedback pls?

I just got a call from a man saying he was with Fieldwork and that I'd applied to be a research consultant for them. I don't remember applying for them but I've applied to so many mystery shopping, survey, and focus group companies over the last couple years that it's quite possible. Anyway, I answered the questions but remain somewhat skeptical now. Of course, no SSN was asked, I wouldn't have offered it anyway. But I still wonder if this was legit or not. Anyone with experience???

What Part Of The Country Are You From? I Am From Northern Nj We Have A Research Company Called Fieldwork East.

I Know They Have Sister Companies Thru Out Us.

They Are Great! They Call Me Every 6 Months & I Do A 2 Hr Survey(at There Place) And Get Paid $75.00 To 100.00 Cash.

I too used to do market research studies at Fieldwork East in Fort Lee NJ and I believe this link is to that company.... They are in other cities in the US so I'm not sure if this was it.


As long as you didn't give any personal, financial info out I wouldn't worry.

I haven't heard of them, but I wanted to mention that you can look them up on the Better Business Bureau website and they will tell you if they've had any complaints.

I live in IL and ours is called Fieldwork O'Hare. I've done a couple of discussion groups with them and they hand you cash on your way out the door! The money is awesome and the groups are usually pretty fun.
