Just thought I would share our timeline purchasing a contract from Fidelity. It took just over 10 weeks from the first communications on the contract to points in our membership. As this was a different UY than our other contracts we have another membership number.

June 19 - Offer made
June 20 - Seller accepted offer
July 2 - Contract received via electronic docs
July 2 - Signed contract
July 3 - Contract sent to Disney for ROFR
July 29 - Passed ROFR
August 2 - Received closing docs
August 2 - Mailed contracts and payment UPS 2nd Day Air
August 6 - Closing company received docs
August 16 - Closed and deed recorded
September 1 - New membership number and points loaded

Fidelity is a class operation.

Do you have your online DVC account activated yet?

What did you buy and what price?

I really liked fidelity as a first time resale buyer. Sometimes they might get a little busy but i think its normal with the amount of people contacting them.

Because we are current members we already have an online account, the new membership was just added to it because it is a different UY than what we currently own.

Paid $90/point for BLT, 210 points, Feb UY,all 2012 points.

I believe Fidelity has sellers who are willing to negotiate more. What is listed on their website is not a good sample of what they actually sell for.

Can I ask what Fidelity's closing costs are? Are they comparable to TSS?

Closing cost comes from the closing companies and varies. I have used both and price variation is under $50. You are allowed to choose your closing company.
I always liked *** due to very fast response on any query and closing happens fast too.
