FHA loans

My DH and I are looking at getting an FHA loan. Does anybody have experience with this type of home loan? How did the FHA inspection go for you. We are in love with this house and have been accepted for the bid we put in on it, just waiting for the bank/inspection.

Be aware that the FHA inspection is not the only inspection you need. Hire an independent inspector to look for structural and mechanical issues.

Agree with what tlbwriter said. A co-worker did FHA about 6 months ago, their headache was getting the house approved. Once they got that everything else went smooth.
