1. Do we normally get the offer of 40% off, or just one night free ? Do anyone of you book the eurostar as soon as out and then hold out for a better offer on discount and take the chance?

2. What extras do you get in the admiral floor in new york hotel and newport bay? Do you think worth the extra money.

3. What is the montana room in Sequoia lodge please - how is this different

When the brochure for this summer came out last November there was a 30%off offer on all summer dates. Since then (apart from flash sales which were on for a short time on very restricted dates) there has not been a 40% offer.

In the past 40% off has only been up to 40% off so unless you could be flexible on your dates there was no guarantee you would get the full 40% discount. In the past we have never managed to get more than 30% off on the 40% offer so we chose to book as soon as the summer brochure was released

I can't help with Eurostar as we use tesco vouchers to book the eurotunnel and drive.

Admirals floor is in the Newport Bay. The only extras seem to be a separate check in desk which is much quieter, tea and coffee making facilities in the room with one complimentary basket of teabags etc and possibly free towels at the swimming pool.

Not quite sure what is happening with Montana rooms at the moment. Traditionally Montana rooms have been those in the main building rather than the outside lodges. At the moment I believe the lodges are the montana rooms because they have all been refurbished and main building is the standard rooms because they are currently being worked on. I'm not sure how long this is going on for.

Does anyone know what the winter discount price trends have been like?
As in what offers were given for the last few years?
I know we got decent offers for May before and thats when we're off on honeymoon,.
I think we shall be holding out a bit longer for something a bit more decent as regards discount!
