We leave in 9 days! :cool1: I can't believe it. Just wondering...

Does Toontown still have a delayed opening at 10am? Are there any other rides/attractions in MK that don't open until 10?

I keep reading that Aunt Polly's is open seasonally....does this mean it is usually still open in early October????

And finally, we have younger children so are not part of the mad dash to ToT and RnR at MGM/DS. Last time we were there it didn't seem like a lot of things were open before 10. I notice they added earlier shows for Mermaid and PlayHouse Disney for the Kids promotion Disney is running through the end of the mth, but I expect come 10/1 it will revert to the 10am opening for those shows. Just curious what folks do in that first hour who are NOT running to the big thrill rides.

Thanks so much!

I don't have all the answers you're looking for, but I do know that Toontown still opens at 10am. I also know that Tom Sawyer's Island doesn't open until 10am. I believe everything else opens when the park does.

Have fun on your trip!

At MK, If you are traveling with little kids, I would hit Fantasyland first thing. Dumbo and Peter Pan's flight can have quite long lines in the afternoon. I have never done MGM first thing, so I can't really help you there. I don't find a whole lot for myself and DD4 to do there. We like the atmosphere that it has in the afternoon though. If you are traveling with boys, see Lights, Motor, Action at MGM! Great show!

I agree that hitting Fantasyland first is great with little ones! You can get Dumbo and Peter Pan done before the line gets long.
For MGM you can hit Playhouse Disney and then go over to the Ariel Show. That is what we always did anyway. That was several years ago; my DDs are older now. It seems like we were able to get a fast pass for Little Mermaid........is that right???? I can't remember. It seemed like we waited in line for the very first Playhouse Disney show, and then left there and went to Little Mermaid. Maybe we didn't have a fastpass and just went to that line next. I do know that we were there at rope drop, though. We always are.

Yes, Mickey's Toontown will still open at 10. Other attractions that open later are the Country Bear Jamboree, Enchanted Tiki Room, Hall of Presidents, Jungle Cruise and Tom Sawyer's Island. They all open at 10.

It's a shame there isn't a LO's EMH anymore, that would have been a great addition to our trip with a 5, 2, and 1 y/o!!!

Won't you be doing any thrill rides? We're planning on baby swapping so that we can see everything :goodvibes

Absolutely! We'll be doing EE & Space Mtn. dd is now big enough to do Splash, BTMRR, etc.

As for MGM...um no, we won't be parent swapping there. I know we're in the minority, but RnR is just over too quick and we really don't see the thrill in it. As for ToT --- well, dh prefers Stunt Man's Drop and I'm not a big fan of random drops so we don't plan to see it either. We've tried both....just not our favs so we'll wait til the kids want to do them and then we'll go.

Did I miss something? Doesn't LO's EMH run through at least next week? Or were you just saying that it will be no more when you go?

ETA: I just checked their site and it says, through Sept 30th. Whew!

Just got back last night. yes as previous poster mention tiki room & country bear jamboree doesn't open until 10am..

Not sure who knows about this but if you are staying on property they have added "extra hours for little ones" its on Sun, Wed, & Fri. and it is for Fantasy Land only. They pretty much queue you up to walk under the castle and they had a bunch of character there to greet. They took little ones hands and walked them to their rides and ride with them. It was so sweet to see peter pan and wendy, etc holding hands with the little ones and bringing them onto their rides to ride with them.. what a magical moment huh :wizard:

I just wrote aoout it plus other stuff on the trip reports if anyone is interested.. have a great trip!
