Few firsts, friends & H. P. an Oct. TR - New 3/4 - THE END...

Man, I missed a few updates. I'm all caught up now.

I have family members that are kind of like Vinny. Telling me they've never been on something when I know they have. There's no convincing them sometimes though. :lmao:

I agree about the caramel store. That was definitely the place that can make you gain weight on the spot.

Beautiful WS photos.
The department store in Japan is ALWAYS packed.
I cannot wait to go to the caramel store. Just thinking about it makes my teeth hurt

You know, I thought that Caramel store looked knew when I walked past it in December. Now I am  we didn't pop in to check it out! :headache:

OMG....that is funny that Vinnie doesn't remember he was on those rides! It's like a new trip for him every time!!! :rotfl:

scott enjoyed the photos, it made me remember how not crowded it was that time of year.

question, our last 2 trips were other times of the year (june and dec)

so i forget when the free dinning is usually offered that time of year.

we are looking to go in oct 2012 but wanna try and time it around the free dinning offer? also does that usually overlap with the food and wine at all?

Hi Scott !
I can't believe I just found you!! I hope you and Biff are doing great! Anyway I suggested the hotel in Paris does that ring a bell?

I have to go start from the begining of your report!:goodvibes

No there is not. It happened a few times and it made me laugh.
It can. Everything looked so good.

Thank you.
Yes it is. Maybe it is just narrow or maybe just very popular. :confused3
:rotfl2: it makes mine hurt too and I need my wisdom pulled soon. Enjoy it and breath it all in when u walk in the door.

No he did not and I am sure June and October I will here the same thing again. :sad2: :rotfl2: it truly is.

Thanks. That day was not so crowded, wait it comes.
we were on free dining but they had extended it till December last year so not sure when it normally ends.
F&W is totally different but it does go on at the same time. I don't think I will get a $50 card again as we hardly had anything so $25 will be good for us though the extra we could spend on drinks. :lmao:

:welcome:
We r doing good. Trying to get through the winter. Yes it does and it was a great a hotel. It was so close to everything. We said we will stay there again in a heartbeat. Thanks
How have u been?

Guess what we did next..we went back to the hotel. We probably slept or read. I really cannot remember. I know we went to the bus stop and again had an issue with no MK buses coming. We ended up going to Epcot and taking the monorail from there. We ended up being 20 minutes late. Where were we going? Here

We checked in and then they took us upstairs. We did not get a table next to the window but one table in and it overlooked Magic Kingdom. It was very nice.

We placed our order and for a drink I had a pomegranate cosmo. It was good.

I then went outside. The view is so pretty from the balcony there.
Disney2010621.jpg

I had the lobster bisque. I love when they bring the soup out and pour it into your bowl.
Disney2010625.jpg

The soup was amazing.

Vinny had the Crispy Asian Rock Shrimp Salad - with Florida citrus, red onions, soy reduction, and wasabi cream. He said it was very good also.

Entree:
We both had the filet. This was also very good.

After dinner it was almost time for Hallowishes. People started going outside and so did I. Vinny did not want to come.

BLT. Very nice.
Disney2010628.jpg

Then the show started. I thought I took video of the entire show but I cannot find it. Only parts. Here is a quick video of the beginning.

More video. Finale

I love how they feed the show into the speakers there. Vinny said it was inside the restaurant too. He watched from his seat.

Dessert:
Me - Seasonal dessert. Pumpkin cheesecake. It was really good. Loved it.
Disney2010648.jpg

Vinny - Mascarpone and Meyer Lemon Cheesecake - Whipped cheesecake and meyer lemon panna cotta w/huckleberry jam
Disney2010649.jpg

He enjoyed it but neither of us finished.

The meal was very good and will definitely go back. If out of pocket it would have been. $165.26 before tip.

Then we walked around the gift shop.
Disney2010651.jpg

We walked over to Magic Kingdom and we smacked by the crowded stick. LOL
Disney2010652a.jpg

That is one of the photos I sent to Disney when I sent a complaint. It took 4 buses to finally get us going.

Then we entered

I picked up some juice and Vinny ran and got our cups to fill up.

Overall a great day.

Up next...

Oh Harry you're a wizard now...and a ride.

Dinner at California Grill looks so good. I have not eaten there yet, but it's definitely on my list. I had heard from my parents that they piped the music from Wishes into the restaurant, which I love.

Scott,

Well I am all caught up, what an unexpected treat to find your report!
You and Vinny( always Biff to me), look so happy! Vinny looks really relaxed, so far!
Your room is beautiful, I love the tile in the bathroom.
What a nice time you all had at the Yachtsman , food looked great and the company seemed wonderful too.

I can't believe Vinny got so close to the birds at AK, I remembered that you said he would cross the street if a pigeon gave him the side eye:rotfl:
I love how you all tour the parks, you just seem to take it all in and enjoy the atmosphere. I like to tour that way too, not rushing, rushing.

OK, as far as Vinny not remembering the riding the rides in Mexico and Norway, I can remember he rode them before:scared1:! He did not like the small drop in Norway that you had not told him about,.

The Karamel Kuche, is that spelled right I don't think so. The name cracks me up don't know why. Isn't it delicous I love caramel. There was a cute darkhaired German boy working at the counter to boot, Markus;)

Your dinner at California Grill looked delicious, the desserts especially.

I would write more but, it might be too long. I'll make sure to keep up now I know where you are.

Can't wait to hear about your vist with the wizard!
(We are good, I got an AP back in August. I keep saying it is the first club, group, organization I have ever joined. Visited 4X's last year and looking to go back in May and maybe sneak down for a 2 night trip. Send my best to Vinny! ):hippie:

Pumpkin cheesecake and a fabulous view of the fireworks! Perfect! :cloud9:

Oh, my! You really were smacked by the crowd stick! That's ridiculous!

Looking forward to your Harry Potter day!

enjoyed the update, i love watching the fireworks from up there, it is cool to see how far away from the MK most of them are shot off from.

Thanks. It is great to see you again. I cannot remember if I spoke to you when we returned to thank you for the tip on the hotel.
It was relaxing. Very casual trip with breaks and what we wanted to see instead of we had to see.
I love Ip-Dips dinners. They r so much fun and always with great people.
He was very afraid in that theater. I was hysterical with how he acted at times. Evil I am. :)
Definitely no rushing on this trip. We slowed it down and really enjoyed it.
Please remind him, he still says he did not ride them. :confused3 He is getting up there in years. :lmao:
HMMM, I missed Markus, I will have to go and look next time. :lmao:
CG was delicious. The entire meal was excellent.
Lucky you with all those trips. I keep trying to convince Vinny we need to move to Florida. Not yet I was told. I will tell him.

it was perfect. I was really surprised at how good it was.
Yes we were. I was shocked when we got there.

That food looks awesome; I would have to go outside to see the fireworks.
it was and me too. Just not the same from inside.

enjoyed the update, i love watching the fireworks from up there, it is cool to see how far away from the MK most of them are shot off from.
Thank you. Yes it was. It felt smaller than usual. Not as many fireworks.

California Grill looked wonderful! The food looked good -- and that view!

I've heard others talking about this new Caramel store in Germany.. I can't wait to see it for myself.

And I find it hilarious that Vinny doesn't remember being on some of the rides.
