Sure does from those pics, huh? I don't know why, but until just a few days ago I actually thought the show was being revamped. I was picturing a whole new experience all this time. Looks like the same exact thing, but I do think the location is a million times better. Also, I love the show as it is so I guess no reason to mind it staying the same.

Anyone seeing festival of the lion king fast pass+ availability for July yet? This is one of our must do Animal Kingdom experiences.

I am also hoping to get a FP+ for the middle of July but have been unable to find any availability. I noticed the Disney website is only showing the showtimes for June 1- 28. I am curious if anyone has been able to book FP+ past June 28. Wonder why showtimes are not available past June 28?

Hopefully showtimes and FP+ for July will be available soon.

How does FP+ work for shows? It says for standby to arrive 30 minutes before the show begins but I am reading that FP+ gets let in first. The whole point for me to use a FP+ would be to arrive five minutes before the show and have a guaranteed seat, not have to WAIT 30 minutes for the show to start.

If anyone knows, please lmk if this would be a waste of a FP for us or if you can walk up five minutes before showtime with a FP and know you will get your seats...

I have tried booking a fp for June 30th, but it still says "closed for refurbishment" on the fp selection page. I don't recall it even showing FOLK on the page at all until recently, so that's a plus. I assumed they would at least release all of June yesterday, but that didn't happen. Not sure what the deal is, so I'd love to know if anyone has any insight!

Sitting in theater waiting for 12:00 show as we speak, and I came in on a FP just to make sure I would get a seat. Since I'm already inside, I'm not exactly sure what the lines look like outside but I'm delighted that it is indeed reopened & FP is available =)

Hasn't been officially demolished yet..... but it is definitely empty and unused, ready for the wrecking ball...

I'm excited that FOTLK is back since it is one of the attractions that we will use FP+ for and because we missed the show in January as it closed right before our trip!

I went to FOTLK on Tuesday, and I didn't think the theater or show was any different from the show I saw Feb 2013. I thought they were changing the theater (apart from the location) and making some changes to the show, but it looked 100% the same. Anyone detect any changes?

Show looked the same.
Theater is set up the same, but bigger and has AC.....still wish they would have put backs on the benches

I posted this last night, you can see the thread, it opened for July yesterday evening, looks like fastpass has a 20 minute window and the shows are on the hour
