Festival of the Lion King reopening

There is a rumor somewhere (I can't find it right now) that this may open on June 7 to coincide with the new afterhours party at AK. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

Would this be something they might do soft (re) openings for? We leave on the 7th but FotLK is my favorite part of animal kingdom so I'm very much hoping that it will reopen way ahead of schedule.

They probably do, do soft openings but you probably have to be there at the right time to get into it. I'm not exactly sure how that works for shows.

This - Harambe Nights at AK is where the rumor started from I think. Lion King will be performed for the Harambe Nights hard ticket event which starts on June 7. Surely they will perform some during the day right?!?!?!

This is a different show than Festival of the Lion King. The show during Harambe Nights will be "The Lion King Concert in the Wild," featuring live musicians and a celebrity narrator. But I'm still hoping it means Festival of the Lion King will be ready to go by then too!

Ahh I see! Well then I won't get my hopes up!

Well, I'm ready for it to come back! So it doesn't matter if its June or July, as long as it's open and ready to go in October I'm good.

they are on track for June

1) Correct.
2) In fact, special deal on every Saturday in June/July
. . . meal
. . . show
. . . celebrity narrator
. . . $119/person
. . . $139/person for PREMIUM package

NOTE: I will be going to a special event this Thursday at Harambe Theater.
They are even bringing in Four Rivers BBQ (arguably the best in Orlando). It
should be a nice event.

Do you know if they are on track for early June or late June? I'm hoping to see them when we are there!

What is the difference in the two catagory prices offered?

Regular seating vs premium floor seating.

And not that it matters much, but the adult tickets are $119 and $134 (not $139 like previously posted)

Early June because the special harambe nights events start the first Saturday in June. And like rusty said they are having a CM thing there Thursday so its going to be ready very soon.
