Fenced off parking lot between FFI, Mimi's and Hojo's...

We have 4 kids with another on the way so I totally agree with family suites with a couple of them being able to house us big families.

We're staying at HoJo's in November but have 2 rooms. They say they can't guarantee that our rooms are joined so the family suites would be perfect.

Another vote for FAMILY SUITES!!! We are a family of 6 and haven't stayed at HOJO yet because we haven't been able to get into the new suites. Also love the idea of a hot breakfast and/or a food court area!

Okay, picture this: new building first floor: food court with adjoining indoor pool; upstairs several family suites and rooms, top floor lounge with huge windows (to see fireworks) which houses an expresso machine, and more snacks, and maybe even a bar, liquor license not withstanding...:woohoo::yay::dance3::love::cool1::rotfl2::thumbsup2

You guys are coming up with so many great ideas! I love it!

I'm definitely going to be compiling all of these so that I can email all of this to our General Manager and Owner!

Keep them coming! :cool1:

Lorealle - We LOVE HoJo Anaheim!! Family Suites with more food options, food court or breakfast anything would be great!! The only negative things I ever say about staying at HoJo are the walk along Harbor and the lack of food at the hotel.

As you can tell, all of us here love spending someone elses money. :rolleyes1

I'd love a breakfast area, but I think it's hard for HoJo to justify it at current prices. Perhaps having a conference area to get into that part of the market would enable the breadfast idea. Otherwise, it has to be more Family Suites on the upper floors. Please keep the indoor hallways like you have in the other buildings. Maximize the number of rooms with a Disney view - always a great value for the premium.

You know, we actually own that lot and are trying to figure out what we might do with it! I've heard rumors about our owner considering building another hotel over there...

Do you guys have any suggestions that I might be able to pass along? Family Suites? Another water feature? More firework views? Etc?

Since we're still very much in the Idea Phase, it would be awesome to get some feedback from the people that it will affect most about what would best serve you on your trips! :goodvibes

Whadya think?

Sell the property to FFI so they can fix their parking problems!;)

Many years ago there used to be a Mexican restaurant in that general area but I don't know if it was torn down when FFI was built. There also used to be a bus hub back there (ART and city busses) but I can't picture it in my mind right now, so not sure if it's still around or even in the area you're seeing.

So, all that to say, I don't really know what used to be in the exact area you're talking about.
Based on the striping of the lot, it was definitely once used for regular car parking, but that doesn't mean a bus hub wasn't the most recent use.

The property in question is in the upper right hand corner of the linked image from googlemaps...

Go Lorealle. I think it's great that you guys are so in touch with the guests at your hotel. It's so personal and awesome.

I have another idea. How about some kind of catapult that will shoot you right to the gates of Disneyland :lmao:

I'd like to see a shopping centre like a walmart style store, only of course, a mini version. I'm not sure how big the lot is, but maybe a high rise shopping centre. I love the convenience store inside Hojo's but I think I would be interested in a bigger store as well.

You're right, Lorealle and staff are great to stay in touch with everyone. Great idea, lol! I wonder if a pedway from Hojos to Disneyland could be built! Wouldn't that be awesome if it were in a diagonal line above traffic?
