Felt Countdown Calendar

Hello,

I am looking for some help figuring out how to make a felt countdown calendar for our disney trips. I thought I could make a Mickey Head out of black felt and put pockets with numbers on it for the days. Then I could fill the days will little presents (I have Croc art, trading pins, etc.). I have to think someone knows how to do this better and could help with a better idea or making this idea work.

I love the idea!!

You could move a Mickey icon attached to a ribbon from pocket to pocket, it would be really cute!

The pockets would be super easy if you were keeping them flat, If you need a pocket with a pleat, it might be a little harder, but still way cute!

I love the idea of moving Mickey! I was planning on keeping them flat and just putting small items or notes where to find bigger items.
