Calling all disney freaks..:rolleyes1 ohh.... did I say that outloud?
I mean calling all disney FANS:woohoo: I can use your help!

Every time when we go to Disney I hide a "hidden mickey" :tiptoe:(used to be handmade every year, now they are the paint chips from Home Depot) each day with a descending number for a countdown for our trip. I usually start around day 14 and am now on day 9...... Only I've done this so many times I am starting to run out of ideas! This is where you come in!

I should probably mention that I do this for my 42 yr old husband:blush:
ohhhh and its our 9th anniversary today:yay:

In the past:
-in the microwave
-in the sports section of newspaper
-on his rearview mirror
-inside the lid of the toilet
-on his bathroom mirror
-in his book as a bookmark
-taped to a tile(he was tiling our bathroom that day)
-computer keyboard
-packed in his lunch for work

You all are very creative and I would greatly appreciate the ideas. Help make a 42yr old man smile:upsidedow ha ha...

Inside the cereal box (like a prize)
under a dinner plate and make him clear the table
In his pocket (before he puts his pants, coat, shirt on)
Inside his shoe
In his wallet
In his pillowcase
On the alarm clock so he gets it when he wakes up
If his cell phone folds put one in there

wow, this is fun! I might try it!!:thumbsup2

Awesome:banana:
I will definitely try some of these...!!

I tried the dinner plate thing, too funny..he is so much help around the house anyway... 2 times I put it under his plate, and he picked up the plates and walked away..then kept asking me "what is so funny"

If he carries a briefcase or computer bag, put it in there. Or if he has a laptop, in there. Could someone he works with help you out by putting a few at work?

ahhh good idea..

The work thing wouldn't work so well... because he is an air traffic controller.

I can hear the headlines on the nightly news...

big delays at Boston Logan airport today due to air traffic controller finding "hidden mickeys"...

oh that is such a sweet idea. hope you don't mind but i'm going to do that for my 4 kids...i will be stocking up on the mickeys..where do you get them at homedepot??? is there a limit you can take??? lol

In the past I made them out of black construction paper and decorated them with glitter pens... (kids might have fun with that)

But some of them got misplaced, and out of pure laziness when I was in Home Depot getting paint chips (doing our bathroom) I grabbed a handful and cut them out and put number stickers (from scrapbooking) onto each one.

A wonderful dis'er posted a couple of ideas which I immediately "stole".

My husband around lunchtime said...."no mickey yet today..." I told him I was going out to keep on looking... (I hadn't even put it out yet)

Anyway,..... I took someones advice and put it in his cell phone (flip kind). He was just getting ready to run out to the gym and he said "I found my mickey"... Thank goodness our closest neighbors live a ways away because I wonder what they would think my 42yr old husband yelling
"I found my mickey":rotfl2:

i just looked up and saw a lamp shade and thought, that would be a fun place. if you put inside so that the mickey shadow shows up when you turn the lamp on.

Okay, I have too much time on my hands how about...

If he uses a travel mug, put one in there or in his coffee cup for his morning coffee. (If you have a sugar bowl put one in there if he uses sugar in his coffee)
Under the remote for the tv
In the shower, stick it to the wall
In the back window of the car, he'll see it when he backs up the car
If its time for a new shaving cream or deodorant put one inside the top

good luck!

How about in a sandwich!:lmao:
BTW great idea I may steal it for our next trip!
