Feet pain and another shoes post - Any Merrell fan?

I took a pair of Merrills as my main walking show in 2014. I had broken them in prior to the trip, as suggested. However, I found that the soles were so thin I could feel the heat from the sidewalk as we were walking around, especially in Epcot. They wound up not working for me.

I bought the Ecco Chase II for my trip to London in May. We walked 20,00 steps a day and I love those shoes. I'm wearing them for my Disney trip next summer.
