Feeling nervous

I'm feeling very nervous today as I left my PR job after 19 years. It took me a long time to decide but the final clincher was the fact that they are moving to Folgate Street in London and it would be a 1.45 - 2 hour commute for me each way.

I'm feeling strange at the moment as I cannot believe that I've actually done it, given the current recession - am I completely insane? But you have to take chances in life somtimes and I really needed to get out of my comfort zone and experience more.

I plan to have fun this weekend as it's my birthday and we're going to a suprise destination and then on Wednesday I'm going to Hope Cove to spend a month at my mum's house and rest up and then, hopefully I'll get some work.

Thanks for the lovely comments. I have just returned from a weekend in Bath and it was great. It's a place I'd always wanted to visit but never got around to it, but what a lovely place it was as it has retained it's olde world charm. Shops were brilliant, especially the sales and we had some really nice meals.

Now back to reality and job hunting - hey ho!
