I had been doing really good on atkins, then over the weekend, didn't do good at all (company visiting, etc. etc.) had lots of sugar. I got back on track Monday, (for the most part) but ever since then, I have been feeling naseous (spelling?) every time after I eat something...I am not sure if maybe I have a bug or something, but has this ever happened to anyone else from switching low carb/carb/low carb/carb back and forth? Help!

Yes!
It's an awful feeling. It is just your body adjusting to the changes in the amount of sugar you're eating. I know it seems odd to feel sick when you go back to eating right, but who can really explain exactly why our bodies work the way they do. It is hard to believe the effects sugar can have on you. I have low blood sugar and if I start getting too many carbs I start getting very short tempered, stressed, and jumpy. I'm sure you will feel better soon. Just make sure you keep eating. That is always the hardest part, but if you don't eat it will only get worse. Good luck! :sunny:

I had been eating low-carb about a week & 1/2 prior to Thanksgiving and had a little of the mashed potatoes, stuffing & pumpkin pie so as not to offend my FIL. Not less than an hour after dinner, I felt like my skin was "crawling". I got a terrible headache that no pain meds would touch and I didn't sleep well at all. It was almost like being shot up with a really bad drug - or having an allergic reaction without the shortness of breath.

I haven't gone back to high-carb foods since with the exception of a few glasses of wine with dinner and some contraband popcorn (less than 26 carbs worth). Had a bit of an allergic reaction to the wine - asthma attack, no problem with the popcorn. But I'm definitely not having a problem passing by the holiday treats at work.

Prior to Atkins, I suffered from "low blood sugar" - lightheadedness, etc. when I didn't get something to eat every so many hours. Now, I'm having trouble remembering to eat sometimes.

This has never happened to me but I have heard of it happening to others. I hope you are feeling better today.

I feel 100% better, maybe it was a little bug or something....
Thanks for all your help!

I am glad you are feeling better!! It is definitely no fun to be ill!!

Hugs!
