Feeling Hot Hot Hot! The Rain Curse is Broken! Two Weeks of Fun in the Sun! COMPLETE

Bullseye is awesome! I think he would be worth a long wait, too. I thought the picture looked great, even with Minnie ears. It's more authentic that way.

I'm sorry you didn't get your trip with just your dad. You all are camping, right? Have you ever seen The Parent Trap?

:lmao: As tempting as that would be there is no way I want to lure bears to our campsite, SCARY! :scared1:

Ummmm. Just kind of speechless really.

You're not a terrible person by any means. The picture actually made me think that we have a people of Walmart website, maybe there should be a people of WDW? :lmao:

:lmao: I like this idea, and might even have a picture or two to contribute! Some people take the "i'll never see this person again" theory too far!

Great job with all the Pixar characters! I would have loved bullseye too.

So I am at the part in your TR where your brother did the pole dancing thing. Too funny! It's 12:09 A.M. all was quiet till I burst out laughing.

geez, now I am super curious as to what the bad word was! Is it something you could say on the DIS?

Your trek through WS has been one with some awesome things: Bullseye, cute family photos, and some odd chicks with princess clothes?? Huh. :confused3 I don't get that one. I can see t-shirts, matching outfits, even tiaras, but those were pretty over the top.

glad you got to Miyuki too; she's one of my faves!!

I saw some girls wearing the princess tutus too (too too???) this summer. Fortunately most of the ones I saw (that were a little old to be wearing them:rolleyes:) usually had them on over biker shorts or leggings. It didn't look like they were wearing it as a skirt, but more similar to wearing a silly hat. The gift shops had tons of them - I, however, was not in the least tempted to get one. In fact it was dresses like those that made me determined to have boy babies instead of girl babies. :rolleyes1 My mother and I would go shopping and she would see all the frilly, lacy dresses and ooh and aah :rolleyes1: I on the other hand, being a much less girly girl than my mother, would look at them and see itchy "lampshades" and swore never to have daughters so my mother would not dress them in those. :rotfl: And I am now the mother of 3 sons :snooty:

I just got back from Coronado Springs yesterday... and I have to thank you now for your TR because you helped a lot with familiarizing me with the resort :) I couldn't say anything before because it was a surprise trip... but I thought I'd tell ya now!

And WOW Slim and Bullseye! They are SO cool!

And haha I think I'm their age and I like to dress up.... But if I'm going to.. I make sure it looks good, first. :rotfl:

FYI - Lessa, Alek and Erich return from their British Columbia/Jasper/Baniff vacation TOMORROW!!

While the kids were away our town experienced
* three very powerful storms, that included a tornado in a near by community (20 minutes away)
* Felt the Virginia earthquake (last year when the kids went west in June to see their father, our town experienced the June 23 2010 Central Ontario earthquake that hit along the Ontario/Quebec border. On the way to the airport Alek, said something about how he would probably miss another earthquake, well he did.
* a week full of doctor appointments and procedures, sick days off work, more meds and finding out that one of my specialist is leaving my city and moving to another nearby town. UGH!! I had to wait over 6 months to get in and see him. Socialized medicine isn't everything. He asks, if I have a problem traveling 30-45 minutes to see him, of course I said "NO", if I had said yes, one only knows how long it would take for me to get into see another specialist here in town. So, I will travel to see him when I need to.
* caught up on Game of Thrones - HBO mini-series
* went to see One Day with friends - cried for at least an hour afterward
* went to see theater production of Billy Bishop goes to war This Canadian classic follows the trajectory of Billy Bishop, from ne’er-do-well cavalry officer to the nation’s most decorated pilot. Both comic and dramatic, the tale of the daring World War 1 flying ace is told through story and song in one of the most popular Canadian musicals of all time.
* went to see United States Marine Corps Weekend at Fort Henry with my sorority sisters (Beta Sigma Phi) The Battle Color Detachment of the United States Marine Corps, Washington, DC will perform beside the Fort Henry Guard in these world famous joint performances. The tradition began in 1954 and continues today in one of the summer's highlight performance events. The evening features musical and drill performances and is finished off with a Fireworks finale.

I had hoped to have a Dis meet with Rosie (EnglishRose47) at some point, but she and her family were away at Disney, and Lessa thought perhaps another Dis meet with Yuki upon their return at the Rain Forest Cafe in Toronto, but Yuki was away as well.

Over all, the time has passed by very quickly and I'm sure that Lessa and perhaps the boys will have many stories and pictures to share upon their return.

Hmm, those princess outfits are interesting. But, to each their own. LOL.

That's so cool you got to meet Bullseye! I really wish they would have those Pixar characters more often.

I've been a little behind on reading your report. First of all the sinning of the national anthem, if someone at Disney is responsible for that then they need to be fired.

Next up I always thought Lacrosse was our other national sport after Hockey of couse. Also did you guys sign the book in the Canadian Pavilions gift shop?

Lots going on here! Sorry about your Dr. My husband is Canadian and told me how healthcare works up there. For the most part it seems to be pretty good. Its a mess here in the States.

Earthquakes are no fun. Been thru a couple here in Vegas.
Storms are no fun either. Although I haven't been in one for about 25yrs. Thunderstorms just don't really happen here.

:lmao: I like this idea, and might even have a picture or two to contribute! Some people take the "i'll never see this person again" theory too far!

No kidding! Although, I have to admit, I was guilty of this exact crime the past few days. I am ashamed to admit that today I was walking around in public in purple sweatpants. :sad2: The other pants that I had taken were all dirty from hiking so I was stuck wearing my sleeping clothes for the ride home.

You take some great photos as usual Lessa!

Thanks Heidi!

geez, now I am super curious as to what the bad word was! Is it something you could say on the DIS?

The many names they have called her would probably be frowned upon by the DIS, in fact, I am pretty sure most of them would be stared out. ;)

It was a pretty great afternoon in World Showcase!

 I am a total girly girl and love the sort of stuff you descrbed but I would NEVER wear those outfits. :scared1:

Sounds like Mom has been keeping busy!

It was pretty cool to meet these rare characters, made it even more fun knowing that they are not common.

Nope, not this time around, we have signed the book in the past.

Leesa- I hope you guys have a safe trip back! I'm glad to see that you Mom had fun and kept busy while you were gone. I think the Fort Henry event sounds awesome!

I had a good laugh about those princess outfits! I don't think it would have been so bad if they weren't so short. Weren't they designed for children? They would be cute on little girls, or young teenagers, but those girls were over the age limit to look cute and sassy in princess skirts.

The trip home was pretty uneventful, my wine made it back safely and that was my main concern!

The princess outfits almost looked homemade to me. :confused3

We made it home safe and sound. Had a good time on the trip (for the most part ;) ). We hiked to many beautiful locations and I, of course, took hundreds of photos. Just need to go through them all now. I should have the next Disney update up by Monday. :thumbsup2

Well I am all caught up !!
First .. Why were the Bros sitting on the Fountain !!Don't they know they are supposed to STAND in front of it with their hands in front of them and look back at the camera with a grin !!!!

Second Loved all the Epcot pix!! Would have loved to see those Oh so rare characters you found !!

Third Oh Beth I soo wish we can meet again!!!

How could I forget this one !!!
The Prtincess dresses would have been perfect to show the girls before our trip and ask which color they would like as these were what we had ordered for them:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Welcome back, Lessa. I'm glad to hear you had a good trip, and even happier that your wine made it back in good shape.

Can't wait for the next update.
