Feeling Hot Hot Hot! The Rain Curse is Broken! Two Weeks of Fun in the Sun! COMPLETE

Did you see the Minnie bow Dooney and Bourke at Tren-D? My mom picked up the white one with red bows. I thought it was really cute and I didn't see it any where else.

Hi Lessa,
I just started reading your trip report. Love your pics so far. now going back to get caught up :goodvibes Just wanted to make sure I subscribed.

Love the Lego Displays! Very talented people.
Alek looks like he lost weight.

Kevin bought me the Sketch large tote for christmas. I hope you end up getting it later in the report!

And I just got the disneyland 55th anniversary print messenger bag at the main street emporium, back in april.

He has been thinning over the years, losing his childhood pudginess. We were laughing that he looked practically emaciated in some of the pictures.

I love all the new Lego sculptures. I can't wait to see them in person one day.

They are all awesome! I am always impressed with what you can build with Lego.

I did see them but not until the end of the trip, the only place they sell them right now I believe is Tren-D, I visited every other shop that sells the Dooneys and didn't see them.

Hey Nichole!

WOW those Lego sculptures are incredible, I was thinking of skipping DTD this next trip if we could, just hate getting there, but I think we have to go see those!

The lego displays were awesome!

Too bad you didn't know the gender of the baby you were shopping for. You would have had no problem finding something for a little girl. Although you might have had a problem narrowing it down. It is sad that they don't have much that can be used for either gender.

I love that snow globe! I don't even look at snowglobes when I am there b/c I will want them all.

I agree that the new lego displays are awesome, and you got such wonderful pictures of them!

I love Basin too, but I never seem to buy anything there. I guess I can't justify buying those lovely soaps, just to get them home and never use them because I think they are so pretty!

I hope you ended up with a Disney dooney by the end of your trip! I have the sketch tote and I picked up a 40th letter carrier on my last trip. Next up I'm thinking about the balloon print. They are all so cute, it makes it really tough to choose!

Wooohooo! I'm finally here, Lessa!!! Thanks so much for sending me the link...you know I wouldn't want to miss this! :thumbsup2 I'm so excited to be reading!

I love that y'all stayed at CSR, and I can't wait to hear how it was. That's one of the resorts on my "want to stay at" list, so I hope you liked it!!

I really hope that you ended up with a new Dooney & Bourke...I know you've been wanting one for a long time, so I'll be looking forward to finding that out!

And I'm SO glad to know that you had warm sunny weather this time around! You definitely deserved it!!

Gawrsh, I just can't wait for more!!:woohoo:

I always enjoy a trip to Downtown Disney, even if I don't end up buying anything, it is fun just to walk around and people watch and check out all the merchandise.

Great Lego pics!

Your brother cracks me up!

I love that Grumpy shirt!

I wish I had bought the shirt now, I could have used it for sleeping in or for exercise. I didn't buy it though as I don't tend to wear t-shirts too often.

I know, I saw so much cute baby girl stuff! I was tempted to get something for a girl and something for a boy and whatever I didn't use for my co-workers gift I could have used somewhere down the line.

I just love the smell of the Basin soaps. Mom likes to buy the grab bags that are only like $5, only problem there is you don't get a choice of soaps you just get what is in the bag.

I was so happy with the weather, leading up to the trip I was so nervous and it was all for nothing as it was beautiful!

The Dooney bags, I think I went and looked at one almost every day of the trip. Every time I saw a store that sold them I had to go in and look and contemplate my choices.

Hi, Just caught up with the posts so far. I love the close up lego shots, they're really great! I can't wait to hear more about your trip and hope it went well :)

Wowza - those Legos are INCREDIBLE!! So cool! I'm going to DTD in July with 2 15 year old boys....I think LOTS of time will be spent there!!

I followed over from your pretrip, too bad we didn't bump into each other :sad2:

It is too bad! I kept my eyes open for Disers but didn't see anybody. :sad2:

Hey there! I'm glad you liked the pictures, I had fun taking them.

If they are into Lego I am sure they will love it. :thumbsup2

We never spend much time at DD. In fact, we have skipped it the past 3 trips. Maybe if they built a pool in the middle of DD I could convince my family to go. ;) I've never been sorry to miss it before but I am this year because those lego sculptures are amazing. End of story. I wonder how many legos it takes to make them? And exactly HOW long does it take to put them all together??

Thanks for sharing the pics since we didn't get to see them ourselves.

Those lego displays are AMAZING!
I am just like you. I love to look around the shops, but wait until later in the trip to actually make purchases.
Yay for your room being ready!

I was bummed that when we went in April all of this was still stashed behind the walls of the construction area of the new store. Thank you very much for overindulging in picture taking of all of it, I appreciate it :goodvibes

Nice that the room was ready that early - score! :)

We have found our way there at least once every year. I find it easier to shop there than in the parks. Get it all done at once and I don't have to carry my purchases around the park. :thumbsup2

I love to window shop! The only thing that is bad about the shopping at Disney is that the merchandise never really changes that much. Actually, maybe that is a good thing, saves me money!

I was so happy that the room was ready. I just wanted to get the room all set up and get the trip to the grocery store done with so we could spend the rest of the afternoon in the pool!
