I suddenly lost my cat on Saturday. He was 6 years old and seemed to die in his sleep. My mom found him and went crazy. Her blood pressure sky rocketed and we had to take her to the ER.
Now I feel like I have to stay strong in front of her when it really hurts. He was my only friend for a while when I had my first house.
Now my fiancé and I are about to buy a house, but I feel guilty being excited cause my baby won't be there. And this might sound crazy, but I don't want to leave his spirit since he died at my parent's house, like maybe he would be scared?
Please tell me it's ok to move on and not feel guilty.
