Feedback on End of the Holiday Season

I’m considering a trip on the last two days of the holiday season (1/5 and 1/6). The priorities would be WOC Dessert Party, Fantasmic!/Fireworks, and TBA. Secondary would be the parade and eating at Hungry Bear with the new menu. I’m concerned because they are literally the last two days of the season. Is there anything I’m not considering? Like any chance they close WOC early to go back to One or something? Anything else that usually closes/ends early? I would be hoping to stay on property but it doesn’t look like there are any discounts at that time.

We were there for the final day of the holiday season last year and plan to do the same again. Merchandise and food will be picked over, but I don't feel like we missed much. Holiday atmosphere was still in full swing.

Disneyland is advertising the Holiday season through 01/06, so nothing should change over until 01/07 at the earliest.

Local schools return 01/06. Based on historical experiences, expect 01/05 to be crowded. No way will Disney transition until after that date.

I often go the last weekend of the holiday season. Everything is still up and in winter wonderland mode, but crowds are lower, as they are heading back to work/school after their trip, even though MKs are back open. The only thing I dislike is that the weather tends to be chilly, but it's January, so duh. I don't go to WOC as I can't stand that long and the dessert party always seems like I won't like most of the sweet treats that are served, but I'm pretty sure it's still up and going until at that point.

Thanks everyone. Will the last weeknight Fantasmic! and fireworks show be Monday 1/6? Or will it go back to being weekends only after Sunday 1/5?

Normally Disney cuts off the Holiday program the Sunday before local kids return to school. This year it’s been extended to Monday. Maybe somebody has a definite answer but… if they’re marketing the Holiday program through Monday, I would expect it to end on Monday.

Their website indicates the holiday fireworks will end Monday (not Sunday), so I would expect Monday.

I definitely found it odd that it was going through Monday that week. I know last year it was Sunday. I am happy to get one more day to enjoy holiday things though.
