otter pops are juice pops get 100 for 2.99 on sale 2.00 they have 4 oz of juice in them throw them in the freezer they freeze up like Popsicles.
I dislike mac and cheese home made boxed but my oldest boy loves it and makes it with soy cheese and goat cheese with green chillies and tomato's and he will eat it up.

Get this - I don't like homemade mac and cheese. I only like Kraft. People think I'm weird, but I just don't like melted cheese dishes. Blech.

My brother swears "cooked" cheese tastes different from uncooked. So I believe you.

My sister will only eat melted cheese. She loves pizza and mac & cheese yet she won't eat a slice of cheese.

I'm the same way with carrots. Love them raw, but won't touch them if they're cooked.:scared:

Ds14 is away at Boy Scout camp all week. He'll be back Saturday afternoon.

Today:

Breakfast
bran flakes and milk for 4, $1.00
orange juice, $0.83
coffee etc, 0.90

Lunch
dd12 packed leftovers (chicken-zucchini quesadillas from last night), some chips for fun $0.25, big bunch o' grapes, $0.50
dh packed leftovers (grilled pork), added some lettuce (free), bbq sauce (free after coupon) on a whole wheat bun ($0.50/8 from outlet store, so $0.06, grapes $0.50
dd7 and I went to McDonalds------coupon for b1g1 free salads, so $4.10 for two grilled chicken ranch salads, plus $1.50 for a big ol' diet coke for me (hey, it takes her ONE HOUR to eat a salad----I drank the soda and read the free local weekly paper ;) )

Dinner
Dh met w/ clients, business expense
homemade macaroni and cheese (oodles left for tomorrow):
wholewheat pasta, $0.99/16 oz
extrasharp cheddar, $1.00/8oz
cream cheese, 3 oz at $1.25/8oz, $0.47
2 cups milk, $0.47 (milk is $3.69! I was out of dry milk!)
broccoli, $0.85 for 1lb

snacks
micro popcorn, $0.25
peaches from orchard, $0.50
2 apple cider donuts from orchard, $1.70

Total for today: $15.87

it's $2.50 in Elizabethtown - even chocolate milk! The last time I checked that, it was up to $3.99/gallon

In Bowling Green I just paid $3.19 per gallon. 3 weks ago it was $2.99 (cheaper than wal-mart), last week it was $3.09, now this week $3.19. I guess I'm glad school is starting since they didn't up the lunch prices and my oldest DD loves her milk. But I can't complain, my youngest DD drinks vanilla soy milk, it's $2.99 per 1/2 gallon.

I wish I could get the Milk prices you all are getting! I just paid $4.25 for a gallon of Milk and it wasn't even "name brand", it was the store brand!

My daughter asked yesterday why we we weren't getting the pink label milk(store brand) When I actually looked at the prices, the name brand was less per gallon than the Wal-Mart brand. Go figure!:)

My sister will only eat melted cheese. She loves pizza and mac & cheese yet she won't eat a slice of cheese.

I'm the same way with carrots. Love them raw, but won't touch them if they're cooked.:scared:

hehe I only liked cooked carrots and hate them raw ! This and peas and collard greens are about the only veggie I dislike .

After today I am on vacation for the rest of the week. Wednesday we are leaving for Idaho to go to Silverwood so i am sure i will blow my budget. Tonight I am going shopping for Wednesday, we are spending the day at the aquatic center, but i am sure the kids will want an ice cream or something from there.

My sister will only eat melted cheese. She loves pizza and mac & cheese yet she won't eat a slice of cheese.

I'm the same way with carrots. Love them raw, but won't touch them if they're cooked.:scared:

I have a friend like that. She has "cheese rules". It has to be verrrry melted or she won't touch it. Something about the texture. She actually prefers fake, cheese flavored things (like box mac and cheese, the sauce on Arby's beef and cheddar, whatever that orange atrocity is that they stuff Combos with, etc). She loves the fake stuff but is completely disgusted by a slice of cheddar.

I thought she was just weird but I've met two others like her and now another one. The cheese issue seems to go hand in hand with disliking mayonnaise and eggs, at least for all the ones i know.

Y'all are making me hungry, now I have to ask my mom to make homemade mac and cheese this weekend. mmmmmmmmm

Did you know that the DIS has a spell checker you can download? That way you don't have to preface each misspelled word with "I can not spell". As an educator I mean this in the friendliest possible way. If you have trouble spelling, consider using available tools to help you improve!

Why do people have to give everyone such a bad time about spelling. After all this isn't school and you can almost always figure out what the person is trying to say without making them feel horrible about their spelling. We are postitng what we are having for dinner not taking a spelling test.

This is honestly why I stop posting for a while here cause I swear it feels like the police . To be honest its everyone making fun of everyone that gets on my last nerve and makes me wish I did not like Disney enough to be here . At least I come out and say I can not spell this or that .

Do you go to your childern at school and pick on them for miss spelled words ? I would be one pissed mama if my child came home crying cause he missed spelled something and someone made fun of him .

oh and BTW about the spell check if its something you have to download my Dh would never allow it .
