Fee to Change ADR w/i 24 hrs?

Does anyone know if I would be charged a fee if I change an ADR in a time slot to another restaurant at the same time slot with 24 hours of the ADR time through MDE? By that I mean, picking a new ADR time through MDE, having it note I have another reservation at the same time period and then allowing it to cancel the old and make the new reservation. Would I get charged $10 per person as a cancel within 24 hours or will it notice this as a replacement and not charge me?

Not sure but I would assume you would get charged with canceling within 24 hrs, because that is what you are doing. You are not transferring your ADR you are canceling and then making a different one. At least that is how I interpret it.

According to a CM here on the boards who has explained the cancellation process on other threads, the ultimate decision to charge the no show fee is made by the restaurant manager, not MDE or the reservation system CMs. The restaurant receives the list of reservations for the day and at the end of the evening will determine who did not show up. If you cancel on the day of your reservation, your name will show up on the res list and later the no show list.
