Hello there, I am planning a "quick" trip for Feb.12-19. I have never been in Feb. and was wondering what the weather and crowds were usually like then. I know it will be cooler. But I am really looking just to have some "FAMILY" time w/ my DH & DD. My DH and I work opposite shifts so one of us is always home w/ our 4yo DD. We are in need of some fun together and what better way then to spend a week in our most favorite place on earth!!! Thanks for the help!

Have been twice in February, about a week earlier than when you are going. The lack of crowds was great. We never waited more than fifteen minutes in line at all of the parks.

The weather is a mixed bag. Some days were warmer than others. The highest temperature we saw both years was about eighty. And it gets pretty chilly at night, so go prepared. Also, chilly weather makes for some pretty chilly boat rides so prepare for that as well. There were plenty of cold and miserable people on the boats. The only other thing I can tell you is that supposedly the crowds get bigger the closer it gets to President's Day. We didn't have that problem though because we never stayed past the 12th. HTH!

we went in feb of this year.....it was a week earlier than you are going and the weather was great and the crowds were next to none..i would say as long as you get there before pres week or weekend your good to go......

Any time you can get out of New England or Upstate NY in February is a good time. I have been to Massena in winter, and it's a great place if you like it cold and snowy. A good place to be a hockey player, and lovely for the much rest of the year.

Early to mid-February should be a great time to be in WDW. I would expect lower crowds, good weather compared to home (doesn't take much ;)) and good resort prices.

The later you go in February the larger the crowds become. You should find that the early part of your week will be quieter than the end of the week. Friday, February 18 begins a long, holiday weekend and the crowds will start arriving Thursday....

However, the weather that time of year is great. The winter rains are over the weather is starting to warm up. Light jackets.

Be prepared to wait sometimes but take the time to enjoy the scenary. Spring will be in the air.

Totally off the subject, check out some of the suggestions for entertaining little ones in line.

Yes! We went first week of Feb last year. It was great. We dressed in layers and it was warm in the afternoon. High 60's to low 70's most our trip (in the afternoon). We will be there the same week our next trip. We arer from the Boston area so we don't mind it if the weather is on the cooler side.
