February specials

We are looking to take my DD (age 5) and DS (age 3) down for their first Disney trip in February. I was a cast member (how I miss my silver pass) ten years ago, and have not been down except with my chorus since then.

I have forgotten about resort specials and timings.

What is the likelihood that there will be some good specials for a mid-level resort in mid-February. We want to get the dining plan with two counter service and one sit-down as well.

Any advice for a former frequent Disneyer?

For 2012 you had your choice of a room only discount (most resorts) or free dining for part of mid February. We checked in on Feb. 13 and checked out Feb. 17. Mon. - Wed. nights were at Value Season rates but Thursday went to Peak Season Weekend due to President's Day being the following Mon. In 2013 President's Day is Feb. 18 so I expect Peak Season rates will begin Feb. 14. After President's week rates return to Value Season again, I believe.
