Hi everyone,
Planning a trip for first week of February based on my guidebooks, wdwig.com and of course here. The general consensus was this was the shortest lines, smallest crowds but I noticed someone else mention they are going that week and said they are thinking of moving trip to January because of crowds. Did I miss something? Like a big convention, sport thing, etc. etc. Thanks!!!

We have been at WDW several times in early Feb. Crowds are usually small and lines are short. Crowds can increase when the national cheerleader championships are held. In 2006 this is Feb 10-13. We encountered many groups of cheerleaders in 2002 but I still don't think the crowds or lines where that bad :cool1:

i agree with sherry66.. only concern would be cheerleaders.. and once presidents week comes it's crowded then too.. but, i would try and find out when the cheerleaders would be there.. maybe go the first week of february.. i was married there in '03 and it was perfect.. weather, low crowds.. it was great!!

First few days of Feb. '04 were wonderful! That's when I would go if dh's school schedule allowed.
I am sure we will be missing the light crowds when we are there in August. We didn't see any groups like cheerleaders. Have a great time!

Thank you all!!! I must avoid the cheerleaders! I coached for seven years up until 2 years ago and could NOT take it anymore! lol!
